You people and your weird obsession with qanon is real as much as the hatred you have for DeSantis. Sad. But reality.

cut 'em some slack, they've lived through PURE EVIL & have suffered generational damage. Their kids have missed field trips & their families have had to endure folks vaping at football games. have you no empathy? "You people" is a terrible way to refer to downtrodden souls who have endured such apocalyptic hardship.

Seriously man. I regularly refer to “my kiddos” in conversation when context dictates it. I get you despise the best Governor in the Country. But this is as weak as it gets when it comes to being upset. I am just trying to help you stop as we disagree on most political things. But come on man with this!

In a one on one conversation it makes more sense to say my kiddos many times. Being an interview it may have been more appropriate for you to want her to say “our”. But if someone asks you directly about your kids and your wife is not there it would be odd to say “our kids…” verse “my kids…”. Just pointing out context and it is hard to believe you never referred to your kids as “my kids”.

If you are obsessed with a ridiculous political theory qanon. I can’t help you.

But yes we did cause generational damage through Covid as you correctly pointed out!

Yeah, I get that. But how does "humility," figure into it? Another form of humility is humble, and she's making it sound like he humbles himself to do something as mundane as after school pick-ups.

Ha! “You people” is the first mistake and it leads to a tree of nonsense. DeS means nothing to me. Not my overlord and never will be.

    Relax.

    LOL…

You try to link me to a nonsense theory and try to back peddle. LOL!

    Be better!

Instead of allowing your preconceived feelings to guide you. Try being open minded. It will help with navigating propaganda!

I didn’t link you to anything. Just explained reality to a normie. Take your own advice and just consider that DeS has no weenie. Why is it so cray if you don’t have first hand (or second) knowledge?

The OP quoted some things SHE SAID about her husband. Somehow, someway, this got turned into an attack on DeSantis as if he had made the comments himself. You’d have to speculate a lot of things to misconstrue the truth so badly.

At the worst it is just an example of living in a bubble, where it seems perfectly normal for a father to never have to go get a kid, and to actually do so is a feat of heroism. For everybody else it’s a common thing.

It’s a bull shit thread. But it’s a minor criticism of Desantis not a tear down of his wife like calling Michelle Obama a man is. My criticism is about that.

Every thinking person should be concerned about QAnon and how their utterly bizarre and dangerous thoughts have not only crept into mainstream society, but have been espoused by people in Congress, such as MTG, and their membership courted by a US President.

I used to think we could educate our way out of this mess, but DeSantis is bound and determined to ruin Florida's educational system and we have his supporters ready to lap up every new load of crap he releases upon us.

Context, context, context. This wasn't some casual conversation where your inaccurate and insensitive use of possessive pronouns would likely be overlooked by the people you normally speak with. (Strange, though, because you cons are normally very anal over pronoun selections.) Casey was doing an NBC interview trying to make her thoroughly unlikable husband come off like the world's greatest husband and father because he actual picked up THEIR children from school when she was battling cancer and that he did so with humility, an odd word choice never before associated with our governor and totally out of place in this context. Talk about setting the bar low, she dug a trench. She's an educated woman, accustomed to appearing on TV. She, at least, should have understand words have meaning and, if she is desperately trying to save his campaign version of the maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic, she should have chosen better. Their children are both their responsibilities, not hers alone, and DeSantis deserves no special public recognition for sharing some of that responsibility. Besides, he might need those kids as props for another campaign commercial.

Is this the worst thing imaginable? Of course not. It does, however, highlight why so many find something "off" about them...and with very good reason.

He 'humbled' himself to do mundane woman's work is how I took it. Perhaps she means he just did it and didn't throw it in her face or hold it over her head, or maybe she meant he didn't brag/complain to his friends about how he had pick up her slack while she battled cancer? I didn't see the interview, so I'm probably missing some context and, besides, it's not like he wore a tan suit to pick up the kids or put dijon mustard on his hamburger.
