Pornhub Sues Texas

    An official complaint was filed on August 4 by Pornhub and several other adult industry members and activists in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. They claim that it violates the Constitution of the United States and the federal Communications Decency Act. Essentially, they claim it's a violation of free speech.


    The advocacy group Free Speech Coalition, which lobbies against censorship laws related to obscenity, is one of the plaintiffs in the case alongside Pornhub.


    The plaintiffs are hoping the court agrees to block the law before it goes into effect in less than a month.
