I don’t get why they think LSU is an elite team. The LSU I saw last year did not look elite. They look good at times yes, but not elite.
We'll know a lot more right after they play FSU. That's two very good mobile QB's going against two very good defenses. LSU has the 1st team #1 rated QB in the SEC right now.
Fsu’s defense didn’t look so good to me in Tallahassee last year. Our crappy team almost beat them.Lsu got smoked by Tennessee and lost to A&M. I just don’t see it.
All three of those games are at home, and that means something! You meant Mark Stoops, although he and Bob are related. Mark is a very good coach, excellent at preparing for other teams (especially UF) recruits well, and has very good assistant coaches. I think the percentage is off; although, since it is a home game, they should be favored. What troubles me about Kentucky is that is week five, and Stoops is a master at defensive schemes against an offense. If Florida can't adapt early, we could be playing from behind, and I don't see this Gator team playing well from behind.
Yep, and Tennessee spanked them hard last year too. Last year was such a weird year to predict football.
Ah, I know how that happened--a cut and paste from an old article. I guess the media thought originally it would be a Saturday game.
It was supposed to be and got changed. Unfortunately, I made travel plans for the Saturday kick and can’t make it on Thursday.
Name corrected. Keep writing Bob Stoops because he's the only Stoops I like. Definitely know the difference between them.
I don’t know why but I feel pretty good about the Utah game. I think the road game, other than LSU, that concerns me the most is South Carolina. You know they will have our game circled after the stomping we gave them last year. Didn’t give my prediction, I think 8-4 is realistic with maybe 9-3 attainable. Having said that, 7-5 is also attainable but I’m at 8-4.
