Great stuff as always Chem. Appreciate your feedback.

Although there were rumblings yesterday (via podcasters) that
Putin may actually be considering atacking NATO (Latvia / Poland). I don't believe it but thats the rumor.

That would be a significant escalation and raise the sakes BIGTIME.

Think about it. Russia is going to get considerably more than what it was asking for, prior to 2/22, in negations which were scuttled by the US and the UK.

Also germaine: prior to the war the average American household was paying $1,200 a year in taxes to defense, $900 of that to weapons manufacturers. Expect that to increase.

Think about it. The Russians invaded a country. That autonomous, self-determining country is defending itself. Their choice is either (a) capitulation, which you openly cheer for, or (b) defending their home, which you despise.

You parrot Medvedev all day, contriving cause, twisting (or self-creating) facts and reinventing history.

But your narrative doesn’t change the fundamental bare fact - Ukraine must either defend itself or die.

You were spitting nails when the US invaded sovereign countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria weren’t you ?

Also, the notion that Ukraine is a sovereign country is bat**** crazy. It’s a NATO gun platform to see Putin deposed and to weaken Russia.*

*See earlier post about the U.S.’s longstanding strategy to prevent at any cost an emerging threat to American hegemony.

give them atacms and that happens as they could reach the Kerch bridge

as is, a Ukranian pilot would have to push into russian occupied territory to launch a stormshadow to have a chance at reaching it.

Ohhhhhhh. Again in bizarro world, parroting bald-face lies that Ukraine is not a sovereign country. This is right in line with your propaganda that Hitler wasn’t threat, just a misunderstood painter.

No, it's not. Not by any measure. It's debt we'll owe interest on and it's unnecessary. Not to mention the fact that it's going to fund a humanitarian crisis. I see they have you brainwashed.

Russia multi-tasking, doing what we cannot currently do in space as well as doing what we cannot do on the ground. Where is all our money going ?

The media was instrumental in darkening the mood on Vietnam. Now darkening the mood on Vietnam 2.0 …

Western media have finally changed course. They are now admitting that the much promoted Ukrainian counter-offensive has failed. In fact, the acknowledge that it never had a chance to win in the first place.

The Hill, the Washington Post and CNN now agree that the Ukrainian army will never achieve its aims.

That makes it difficult for the Biden administration to get Congress approval for $24 billion in additional 'aid' to Ukraine. It does not make sense to pay for a cause that is evidently lost.

The Polish President Duda has also acknowledged that the counter-offensive has failed. Relations between Warsaw and Kiev have gotten worse and Polish interests will not allow for more support or active intervention.

No wayyyyyy. Attacking Latvia and Poland would be a significant escalation??? Who says? That's one helluva an assessment for something that isn't going to happen. Do you think it would be an escalation if Russia attacked Germany too? I'm on the fence. In a way, I could see Germany welcoming the attack and hosting a state dinner for Putin and Prigozhin afterwards. After all, Russia has supplied them so much gas over the years. And Germans are known for their hospitality. What about France? Do you think that would be an escalation? It's so scary to think about. Can you break it all down for us?

Triggered troll? Humanitarian crisis.... how pathetically ironic since Putin's thugs invaded and still occupy Ukraine. Ruble is skyrocketing , inflation is climbing rapidly, the russki economy is teetering, but sure not worth making Putin look like the failure that he is. LOL

Actually, Russia is presently ejecting occupiers from its territory.

Or are you one of those crazy MAGA-type election deniers ?

Russia's debt to GDP is 15%. The United States debt to GDP is 129%. You answered my question, thank you.

"MOSCOW, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Russia's central bank may raise its key rate to an average of 12.5-13.5% next year from the current 8.5% if substantial risks materialize, it said in a monetary policy presentation on Friday, outlining possible scenarios.

The bank's baseline scenario, unchanged since last month, puts the average interest rate at 8.5-9.3% this year and 8.5-9.5% next year.

The bank also has a "greater fragmentation" scenario which includes stronger Western sanctions against Moscow that would require greater monetary tightening, it said.

The bank said there was a risk that sanctions and declining global energy prices could drive down Russia's oil and gas revenue to an extent that even the rouble's moderate weakening would not be sufficient to offset."

But thanks for playing. I'm certain your russki investments are much, much safer than those in the US. LOL
