Thankfully, I don't need to, as most Americans are already aligned with my position on the matter. I think America is the best country on the planet. Sure, we have our quirks and our issues, but in the end, the American people generally figure most things out. Especially when it involves $$$.

I would love to see your cite for te broad proclamation that “most Americans are aligned with [your] position.” It’s fair to say that perhaps I live in a bubble (although that bubble is pretty damn large), but the only people that seem to “share” your viewpoints on Ukraine are Dugger, of course, Tuckerites, and the conspiracy crowds who dig deep to find someone to say what they want to hear. In my view, most Americans - the overwhelming majority — oppose the Russian invasion, and support the Ukrainians will to defend themselves. Likewise, most Americans appreciate the lessons history have taught us, including the need to oppose aggression in its earliest form.

I’ll say it again … I do commercial route sales. I meet and shoot the breeze with hundreds and hundreds of business owners and/or managers. Typically we talk current events. In the nearly eighteen months of the war not once, NOT ONCE has Putin Bad Man or Evil Russians been mentioned. Typically it’s how’s business going and economy and this or that politician sucks, throw in sports and family. Only on this thread do I see an incandescent rage towards Russians.
This is the same argument we heard for Vietnam and the Iraq redo. Of course, most Americans are against Russian brutality in Ukraine. Myself included. But the majority of Americans are no longer in favor of America exacerbating a proxy war in Ukraine with hundreds of billions of American tax dollars. There is a big difference in being opposed to Russian aggression and wanting to fund a proxy war in Ukraine. Those two things are not mutually exclusive and it’s a common tactic of the neo-con to make them seem so. Also, Americans are more educated and aware these days and understand that this story didn’t begin on February 28th, 2022.
We're still wrapping our heads around the idea that an actual company pays you to interact with other human beings to persuade them to buy products or services. You're going to have to give us some time with that. There are a couple of possibilities. Most people are more concerned with things that directly affect their wallets, or their emotions ("woke" issues, etc.). You did not give any examples of foreign issues that were discussed, so maybe people in your customer base are not internationally-oriented and do not have relatives in the affected region. People may be hesitant to bring up a potential hot-button issue in case you might get offended. It is also possible that you give the impression that you might "go off" if the wrong subject is broached, so it is best to stick to safe topics.

Wouldn't surprise me to learn eventually that even indirectly we had a hand in this. Using the fog of war to conduct black ops behind the lines or support Ukraine's forces to conduct these ops. Of course it being an inside job is also a possibility.
