I don’t think conditioning is going to be the issue in probably the hottest summer on record in Florida come aug 31.

It is interesting. Thanks! All I could think about was what UcheaT is in for (hopefully). It has been a very mild summer here in East Tennessee and their camp has been in much milder weather. I'd expect them to have trouble again in the heat and humidity in September.

It might depend on whether they are doing it outdoors or in the air-conditioned indoor practice facility.

And Utah should be in upper 80S.BUT humidity in mid 20s. That might help to offset the thin air for our guys. They should feel quite cool.

If I were in charge I'd have tons of oxygen tanks and masks.

Maybe the coaches could dig up some masks from COVID and have our guys wear them at practice a few days before the Utah game to simulate the thin air :ninja2:

    Inside your head.
It's 8PM the sun is down and it's 92 degrees and oppressively humid here in central Florida. If early Sept. is anything like this I expect the Vols to be wilting by the middle of the third quarter.

Been there many times too. No comparison between between baking in the hot afternoon sun and nightime.

After listening to Napier's presser, he had serious concerns about conditioning. With that said, I think the defense will be greatly improved. The big concern, will the OL and qb move the sticks? Napier definitely sounded positive about this team and eager for the season to begin! Go Gators!!!

In September they were at 3PM if not televised, then once the calendar hit October the remainder were scheduled at 1PM. Now every one is televised so our TV "partners" dictate every start time.
