He passed infrastructure? He gave muscle to green energy forcing other nations to follow or be left behind? He's restablished leadership for NATO? Unemployment and inflation going down? Putin kicked out of the oval office? So much wrongdoing by Joe

Mentions of the Ohio referendum on Fox News last night: 0. HB mentions: 47.

They know at this point it's a nothing burger but it's the same as the Benghazi situation. You carpet bomb the zeitgeist with a subject and low information voters pick it up and get convinced something is wrong though they know no specifics.

I'm not in the party of trump. Good try. You still believe the steele dossier was "credible" lol. Holy crap. This is hilarious. Trump did a million things wrong, but the dems didn't need to make shit up. It's like the first indictment by Bragg. That is a joke. It's ok, you don't know any better because all you watch is msnbc and cnn.

The subject of this thread isn't the Steele dossier it's Hunter Biden. That being said if 90% of the Steele dossier was accurate and 10% was inaccurate your position is that the dossier should be dismissed in its entirety as an inaccurate political document.

Here's what I think. Biden was "aware" of Hunters business. He met and talked to some of Hunter's business partners in social settings but never participated in business directly. As Archer described on Fox News "I don’t think Joe Biden has looked at a balance sheet or, you know, a cap[italization] table or what have you or any financial document, probably ever.” In his effort to distance himself from his son's shady dealings he provided the characterization you have seen. Do I think he should have said 'I know a bit about Hunters shady dealings and have talked to some of his partners in social settings but I am not involved in any business transactions with any party'... meh, maybe but make believe artists, like you, would still make up shit.

LOL. I'd want to move on from your post also if I were you and made such a poor argument. 90% accurate? Wow. Didn't realize you could just make up numbers.

I was speaking hypothetically. If it will make you happy I will concede that the dossier could not be considered a credible source. That being said when do you think James Comer, Chuck Grassely other Republican politicians and the right-wing media will concede that their "sources" aren't credible and that Joe Biden never received any bribes?

Biden lied. It's not hard to understand. Why did he lie? Hell, even one of the most far lefties on here admitted it. And all you have is to throw out the "but trump" card. Not gonna fly.

See the explanation from @citygator in post #842. Biden most likely interacted socially with some of Hunter's associates may have had very superficial discussions with Hunter and his associates regarding the businesses; he probably didn't discuss the businesses in detail and almost certainly never received any form of compensation from Hunter's associates for influencing policy. In retrospect maybe Old Joe should have been more a little more forthcoming in his response to the questions. Substantively there is still absolutely no evidence that Joe Biden was ever directly involved in either Hunter Biden's dealings in Ukraine or with Chinese interests.

Exactly this. If this is the truth, which we currently don't have any evidence to contradict, then Joe didn't lie.

It seems the standard being set for Joe is to be the most honest and transparent politician in history by saying "Hunter has called me many times while in the presence of his business associates, and I've attend social dinners with his business associates but I've never used my office improperly or for financial gain."

Even IF Joe had said that we'd be in the exact same place with republican politicians and message board posters saying "he's clearly lying!"

Nothing short of impeaching or arresting Joe will suffice so that's exactly why he didn't volunteer additional, extraneous information if it doesn't change what truly matters in the end - did Joe abuse his position?

That is a ton of words trying not to say Biden Lied. Too funny. You keep trying to convince yourself, because you are doing a terrible job of trying to convince anyone else.

Hunter and Joe talked on the phone once or twice a day, especially after Beau passed in 2015. So in 1.5 years, that's around 500 phone calls. Really think Joe is going to remember some 20-odd phone calls where Hunter may have asked Dad to say hello to a group while on speaker phone? Especially since, as Archer testified, these calls quickly dissolved into inane topics like the weather and fishing conditions? So Joe doesn't have an eidetic memory and remembers every phone call he had with his son! We must impeach!

The next testimony will be from someone who yes, did visit Joe while he was VP. That's because he's the family accountant. And yes, he also visited the White House as a guest of Joe for things like the Easter Egg roll. Perks of being an accountant to the VP, I guess.

It's possible he'll testify that Joe was all up in Hunter's business, but it's more likely he'll testify that Joe and Hunter never discussed Hunter's business. Joe never took money from Hunter's business deals, and any and all meetings between Joe and Hunter's business associates were social events, with no business discussed. And the next big witness that will bury Joe Biden will be a big nothing, just like Archer was.

This is why there is so much noise about Hunter Biden. It’s diversionary by people who swear they hate trump and will never vote for him.

So, like 10 members of the Biden family got paid by the shell companies and they have nothing to do with these companies and hell, no one knows what these companies do.
Move along nothing to see here.....
Prove that Joe knew something, which as bewildered as he looks most of the time may not be a bad defense!
I just don't understand why the left is doing anything they can to protect Joe when not a single one of you lefties in here would vote for him again if you had a viable, hell nearly any alternative.
