Look, if you support abortion, you are pro abortion. If you don’t support abortion, you are anti-abortion. That is just the way the English language works. The term “pro” is a synonym of “for”. Both the terms pro-choice and pro life are meaningless. Everybody’s pro-choice and pro life. I didn’t vote for Trump in either election, and I will not vote for him in the primary. Not because I think he is a Nazi or something stupid like that, but because I think there are better candidates that align with my beliefs. I have no issue with Trump. with that Said, I did not march on Washington, and I’ve never denied the election results. That’s because the election results are what they are. WTF is my denial going to do? That does not mean, however, that I believe that the 2020 election was conducted legally and fairly.
So a person cannot be personally against abortion, as a personal value, but not for the government mandating this value on everybody? Is that person pro abortion? So from your perspective everybody logically would be for some form of Sharia religious law - whatever values they believe they also should logically want the government to enforce those values on all? If a person is for legalization of drugs, due to the downsides of criminalizing them, does that make them pro drugs?
Your logic is more like a lawyer's than his, by far. In fact, I'm sure he's not a lawyer. Further proof of that is this comment by him (or her): "That does not mean, however, that I believe that the 2020 election was conducted legally and fairly." In other words, a total lack of evidence doesn't keep him from asserting something as a fact. Most judges would consider that dishonesty and report him to the Florida Bar.
You are pro abortion if you support abortion. It makes no difference if you feel bad after the fetus is shredded. Your pro abortion.
And if you support legislation that can result in these outcomes you're not prolife. Death of a dentist in Ireland denied an abortion has worried doctors who say history may repeat in U.S. Protests flare up across Poland as another pregnant woman’s death is blamed on abortion law
Your post is absent any semblance of logic. Your conclusion after your statement "in other words" has no relation to the quote you attribute to me. Your understanding of legal proceedings is from Ally McBeal. Watch more Matlock. You really need to come up with some new shtick.
Really? Just another example of someone who can't read. Go back, review the posts, and try harder next time.
Now you've added disingenuousness to your repertoire. Your quote was a backhanded assertion that you believed the election was not conducted legally and fairly, which is, colloquially, bullshit, and, in legal circles, dishonest.
Interesting how you have to justify your position with word games and emotional imagery (shredded fetus). Most abortions are simply medically induced miscarriages of an embryo that has no consciousness or feeling or pain. But don’t let those facts get in your way.
Yep this, more than half are chemically induced miscarriages that are done prior to ten weeks of gestation. What gets me is the blatant dishonesty of the pro life crowd. I guess the truth isn’t important when you are trying to force a woman to do your will.
YOU: “Most abortions……blah blah blah” ME: “ All abortion involve the death and destruction of a fetus.” You are pro(for) abortion. I am anti(against) abortion. I have no need to justify my position.
This argument is so dumb. If you think flag burning is a protected right…. You are “pro flag burning”? If you think smoking should remain legal… you are “pro smoking”? Small minded people can’t seem to recognize that a person can acknowledge something is, or should be, legal or a right without being “for” it…. How about this, if you support the death penalty, are you "pro death"?
you are pro(for) abortion. how or when the fetus is intentionally destroyed my the acts of 3rd parties or the mother is irrelevant. “forcing women to do your will” is a false narrative. When society charges a mother (woman) with murder when she purposefully drowns her 1 year old in the bathtub because she suddenly “chooses” not to be a mother any longer….is that not also society “forcing women to do its will?”
Today is the special election in Ohio, BTW, for changing the amendment's threshold to 60%. Polling shows about 40% for, 40% against, and 20% undecided on changing the threshold .... looks like it will be decided by which side turns out. This only needs 50% to pass, so should be close.
