It’s not really about being gay. A guy with a history of stupidity and dishonesty said something stupid about Obama. Big news.
This is what bothers me. I don't think Obama is gay, but why is he touting a book like this as being appropriate for school? To me, that feels like a dog whistle. What other purpose could it possibly serve? Or perhaps someone can explain to me the educational value of "Gender Queer" and why it should be available at public schools?
