Thank you Bill and all Gators and Friends. I was going to post today but things never seem to end. Still suffering in a lot of pain and more recently in newer areas. Just finished my 4th time in 2023 spending a week in a Hospital. And now again in a rehab center. I can’t help but wonder why God won’t heal me and wants me to suffer so much. Probably if I had been a better person I wouldn’t be going through all this. Just don’t understand it all but at least I made it on GC this evening’
Well, as always it’s great to be a GatorCountry Florida Gator!

And my Dad worned me, “Son don’t get old! You won’t like it! Your parts will wear out and fall apart! And besides there is no cure for old age!” My Dad was so smart, I didn’t realize it when I was a kid and a teenager! I sure miss you Dad!

Ray, I hope you can get a reprieve from the pain.

The 'wisdom of our parents' and other 'Elders' is often missed when we are young. It isn't until we hit a few speed bumps in life and eventually develop some adult humility that their words and lessons seem to take on meaning; shining bright, ready to light our path once we gently move out of our way.

Your frustrations with your condition and pain must be a burden. But as you share your truth it give us strength and resolve as your witnesses.

    Blessings Ray.

    Go Gators.:)

As my Mom once said, people need to retire to have time for all their doctor appointments. My grandfather received a pacemaker at 92 and lived to 96. Colon cancer was what finally did him in. Dementia is what scares me. I want to be lucid in my old age to enjoy Gator football, read a book, watch a show, remember my wife and kids, …

Prayers for improved health for the rest of 2023 and beyond
