Rudy is having a bad 2020’s. I didn’t include the sexist and racist remarks by Co-conspirator 1, aka Rudy Giuliani, in the link but they are so far over the top. This guy is unbelievably horrible.

Woman suing Rudy Giuliani reveals tapes detailing alleged vulgar remarks

Rudy Giuliani made vulgar remarks while making unwanted sexual advances towards a former assistant, according to transcripts filed on Tuesday in a bombshell sexual harassment lawsuit.

Noelle Dunphy sued the Trump ally in a Manhattan court in May for $10m for allegedly forcing her to perform sex acts and making racist, sexist and remarks while working as his aide between 2019 and 2021.

In a new court filing this week, Ms Dunphy’s lawyers provided transcripts of tapes that allegedly lay out in graphic detail some of Mr Giuliani’s sexually explicit remarks.

he’s going to spend the rest of his days penniless in a van down by a river (assuming he doesn’t find a comfy 10x6 cell).

Not sure that anything here will make him any less popular with anyone that still thinks highly of him as of today, which cannot be many

If she has tapes, well, he's toast. Was she taping him as she was blowing him? If so,......!. Look, as the father of two principled and strong daughters, I have ZERO tolerance for such men doing such things. It's disgusting and immoral. BUT, women in such situations have to bear some responsibility. Its one thing to be assaulted and raped. It's a bit different, don't you think, if you're told to give a blow job. Unless there's a gun to your head, you say no and leave. Period! Either that or you blow him and chomp down as hard as you can.

Well, she alleges that she was working for him and he began making sexual demands while delaying her compensation and using that as leverage. IF her allegations are true, seems like more than enough for a civil, sexual harassment claim. The unique nature of the employment relationship (which I think his lawyer denies existed here) is presumably why we recognize such claims. Hypothetically, I suppose he could have gone around to every bar in town and asked random women for sexual favors without opening himself up to a lawsuit.

Which is why the case is in civil and not criminal court.

She would have had a claim had she said no and left. If denial of compensation was a factor in her not saying no, why isn't it a factor now?

Am I expecting too much from women in that particular situation? (That's a serious question.)

Wow. If true, this would have been very relevant to Trump’s first impeachment proceeding.

She writes that as they reviewed emails between him and Ukrainian government officials, she asked if he had to register as a foreign agent under the Foreign Agents Registration Act and offered to do the required paperwork for him.

The former mayor replied that he was allowed to violate Fara and other US laws because “[he had] immunity”.

She then states that Mr Giuliani asked her “if she knew anyone in need of a pardon” because he was “selling pardons for $2m, which he and President Trump would split”.

“He told Ms Dunphy that she could refer individuals seeking pardons to him, so long as they did not go through “the normal channels” of the Office of the Pardon Attorney, because correspondence going to that office would be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act,” she added.

Like @orangeblue_coop mentioned, it's sad to see this guy's fall from grace. Might be another victim of Trumpism when it's all said and done. But who could possibly question his character?

I saw him speak at a business conference in the early/mid 2000’s. He was a compelling speaker and good story teller. Afterwards I did look up one of the quotes he attributed to Winston Churchill to find out it was bullshit and something people made up that he said but it went with Rudy’s story. Lost some respect for him. Boy does that seem small now.

He was big on the speakers circuit back then. Spoke at our company annual meeting (NYC firm). Wasn’t impressed, We got Magic Johnson the next year who’s was WAY better.
Rudy got paid 100k a pop to speak back then, between that and the “consulting” with the Saudis I don’t know how he managed to get so broke. Can’t blame it all on the ex….
