    Radical v Radical.

I don’t like either one, but Newsome is a better speaker and has far more charisma. And he’s not afraid to attack.

My concern, though, is that Newsome is so loathed by the Right that the debate will raise the Right’s view of DeSantis regardless of how objectively bad he looks and sounds.

I don't see how this can be a loss for Bootsie. seems like a "look at me" assclown play by Newsome.

Newsom may just be raising money for down the road, but I keep feeling like maybe he's up to something more imminent with all this recent exposure and activity. I just can't come up with a scenario that makes sense in 2024, particularly given Harris sitting in the VP slot. Is Newsom preparing in case Biden steps down for any reason? Is it possible Harris doesn't want to serve a second term? Those both seem unlikely. Interesting it was recently reported that Obama and Joe met this summer, and Obama reportedly warned Joe not to underestimate Trump.

I feel there's a real chance these two will be the nominees, if by default. The right will be all-in on Desi the instant Trump is out of the picture.

It feels to me that Newsome is starting for 2028, and he wants to get in the face of the MAGA bully. I don’t see him entering 2024.

And as for the Desi-da-White-Boot, he really needs to get crushed early on the primaries so someone sane rises to the top. Otherwise he will be the Pubber in 2024.

Welp, according to the Sun Sentinel breaking news the Lord and Savior DeSantites have banned AP Psychology.

Our high schoolchildren are now much more enriched, having been saved from challenging and insightful college level learning.

I hope you’re correct, but I fear that he is accurately reading the base, and what they want

Is that effective immediately? I have a daughter enrolled for AP Psychology this year.

    Yes

Edit to add: approx 7 districts have already dropped it. Brevard county is going to meet tonight and since we’re the birthplace of Moms for Liberty I don’t know what may happen.

A friend of ours at a Lee County school said they're just pivoting to the ACE Psychology class. I don't know what the course covers, but that would be hilarious if it covered the same content.

Not all schools offer ACE or IB but I believe that a freshman survey level psych course is still going to cover those topics and according to state law you can’t do it regardless of the program designation. Kids will be unable to take the AP exam for college credit.

Maybe push them to dual enrollment but what about those teachers getting ready to start NEXT WEEK!

Good lord these people are idiots. Hopefully enough well to do Republican parents get pissed that their kids are missing out on an opportunity for college credit and a bolstered transcript.
