Oklahoma doesn't have a College of Veterinary Medicine. Oklahoma State is the only accredited Vet university in the state.
I have no idea. @notexgator usually knows what he's talking about. I'm just saying that if her goal is to be a veterinarian, the University of Oklahoma doesn't have a College of Veterinary Medicine. Texas A&M and UF do, as does LSU.
Don't know. someone sent a list a few weeks ago. I have too much time today so im going to look up their names.
She’s going to Vet school at Oklahoma State after this season at Oklahoma all being paid for by the Sooners. Big bucks for sure.
Oh, my! That makes sense, but that's a ton of money to lay out for 1 player. The resources Oklahoma softball must have!!!
This is like Lauren Haeger going to FSU for a grad transfer year. (Yes I realize that was not possible at that time.)
I don't think he dropped the ball. I think he really thought we were getting Vawter and had a good chance at Maxwell. But he doesn't have the NIL resources to compete with what was thrown at these 2 ladies. But there's no doubt we're in a lot of trouble because no matter how good these 2 incoming freshmen are, you've got to have more quality pitching in today's D1 softball world.
someone who claims to be an insider for florida is saying that softball is at the bottom of the barrel for NIL. It's football, basketball, baseball and then the other teams. I think this off season we received extra NIL money but of course it wasn't enough. if we don't get 2 pitchers we are not only in trouble this season. but I fear one of the pitchers will decide to transfer out. big responsibly to carry a team throughout the season
These are the portal pitchers who were unsigned a couple of weeks ago. Don't know how many are still available, but it's like that guy on the old Hee-Haw show - Slim Pickins. Pitchers still in the portal besides Maxwell & Vawter: Aiden Sheeren, SR, Albany Amber Thornton, FR, Boise St. Isabella Howe & Victoria Miller, FR, Coastal Carolina Taylor Smith, JR, East Carolina Crisdeona Beasley, SR., FAMU Kyra Pittman, SO, Maryland Emmalyn Brinka, FR, New Mexico Tatum Clopton, SO, Oklahoma St. Lillian Berry, FR, Penn St. Raimy Gamsby, FR, Rutgers Lilly Orozco, P/OF, SO, Rutgers Ashley Goard, P/UTL, SO, San Jose St. Lexandra Sosa, P/UTL, RS JR, UCLA Tamya Grant-Waiters, FR, UT-Arlington
all of this just goes to show how far off the intended purpose of NIL has strayed, call it like it is, pay for play and maybe do 1 or 2 photo-opps to make it look like you are actually doing something, not sour grapes, but to quote jack webb " just the facts ".
