There is so much wrong (as usual) with the OP's supposition. First of all, the way it SHOULD work is that any prosecutions against Trump or Trump aligned people should continue unabated into a new administration as the DOJ is supposed to be independent. Look at the Durham investigation for instance. Second, the OP assumes that the Biden administration operates on the same kind of partisan and lawless basis as the Trump administration did or would. The Biden administration functions like almost every executive branch before Trump's and would respect the will of the people at the ballot box.
So, Democrats being the party of "law and order" makes you think they are going to break the law like Trump and the Republicans?
Exactly. We've had 59 presidential elections in this country and 2020 was the only time we've had anything close to a serious attempt to overturn it. And that was because Trump and his followers were/are unlike anything we've ever seen. There's no evidence that Biden and the Democrats would repeat anything close to that.
There have been movies made about invasion of Earth by Martians. I wonder if it has actually happened.
It would be nice to get back to candidate choices for both sides who don't project contempt for civility, charity, and the law. Not only for president, but for other positions of leadership. Will that ever happen? Do we care or is "winning" the only thing that matters? This is what happens when your bubble convinces you the other side is "evil", values get jettisoned.
It's a tense time, no doubt. Narrow wins could definitely lead to disputes and tensions on both sides. It's essential for leaders to respect the democratic process and encourage unity, regardless of the outcome. While concerns about civil unrest are valid, many hope for a peaceful resolution and a focus on dialogue over division. Let's keep hoping for the best and working towards understanding. ️️
Was going to point out the same. Refusal to accept a loss is symptomatic of Trump's Narcissistic Personality Disorder, the real Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Hillary Clinton formally conceded within hours of the networks calling the victory for Trump. She continued to complain about the process including Russian interference in the campaign which was real and documented but she never refused to accept the results. Once the Supreme Court indicated that they would no longer accept challenges Gore also formally conceded indicated that he was doing in so for the good of the country. In case you may have forgotten.
Best option: stay home. The only reason they have elections is to create the illusion that we have a real choice.
Agree - it's why I asked a generic question to see if they would respond. They didn't = almost certainly a bot.
Almost as if orchestrated … 3/17 - Hunter admits laptop 3/18 - Trump indictment news 6/8 - FBI doc alleges Biden bribe 6/9 - Trump indicted 7/26 - Hunter plea deal collapses 7/27 - Trump indicted 7/31 - Devon Archer testifies 8/1 - Trump indicted
It was the most serious attempt he and his minions could muster once the pentagon shut down his admin's fishing queries into more drastic and bona fide serious steps.
Yes. They spent 2 months plotting and scheming to overturn it. That it failed doesn't make the attempt any less serious.
