GatorGrowl has asked me to update everyone on the last few days. He suffered two minor strokes which the doctors attribute to AFIB. I've talked with him frequently and he has remained in very good spirits. He was taken to the hospital where he spent several days but he is home now. He won't be around for the next couple days as he is getting used to things again. For example, texting is difficult right now so please don't send him any texts. Thanks! We've missed him . . . I know I've missed him . . . and I'm sure we all hope his recovery is complete, fast and as easy as possible!
Thank you ET. Wow I had no idea. Please tell Growl we’re all pulling for a speedy recovery for him. In all kinds of weather….
And may God heal and comfort Growl and all his family. GC wuld not be as great as it is today without his his hard work and dedication.
ETGator, as always, we appreciate your contributions, and thanks for this important update. David has always been a huge contributor for as long as I've been around here, (Kind of like the backbone of the whole GC operation) and he has helped me personally on several occasions. I'm sorry David is going through this. David, we are praying for a speedy and complete recovery. Blessings... and may the Good Lord shine his healing light down on you and heal you arse up. I hope you have some folks nearby to take care of you. ET thanks. Please, keep us posted. Thanks Go Gators.
Growl...you've only missed a couple-three days of practice. The coaching staff is holding a spot open for you. Heal up, we'll need you on the field ASAP! Smile, people love you! And, it's great to-be a Florida Gator. Go Gators.
I have known David since 1964. I know personally that he is a great guy and that he is fighting the good fight. Prayers for David and his family.
Prayers for a full recovery. Strokes are a life-changing event so praying his doctors can find a better blood thinner.
I am getting better but it is slow for me. Things I was doing a month ago I have to learn all over again. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
