I tend to agree with you although there is 24 other working player parts to a team and thats just the first string.

But he is "our guy", at least for now, and I think has been rather disrespected. He and UF has a new start and a new chance, I'm hoping they both make the most of it.

Well he was a big time QB in HS. Let's hope his experience and a new start equate to a good upcoming season.

 

Barring injury Lagway will not redshirt regardless of what QB is under Center at UF in 2023.

 

Well of course he won't because he will be in high school for the 23 season

 

IF Mertz has a productive season and returns for his RS Senior season, I can see a scenario similar to Leak and Tebow.

 

Possible. That will also depend on the progress of Miller and Brown.

 

First thing he needs to do when he checks in is lose that hat...

No offense to Dez because I’ve always loved that big dude. But I feel like him and these othe behemoths are gonna struggle in Utah. Wonder if we’ll be training with those low oxygen masks leading up to the game.

 

This is one area I’m not worried about. Armstrong in his presser said they have 7 guys fighting for 2 spots as a starter. We will be able to turn and burn on the inside .

 

If Lagway is what we hope, he passes Miller and Brown after a few practices
