So, did the WH and Biden lie about Biden saying he's never discussed business ever with hunter or never talked to any business associates? Simple Yes/No Question.

 

I'm willing to concede the Biden probably spoke with Hunter's business associates. Still absolutely no evidence that they actually discussed business deals and I would know some of those alleged conversations took place in 2017 and 2018 when Old Joe was completely out of government and had no real influence.

 

I do not know, same as you. I think he did, but without proof it's just a thought with no evidence to back it up.

Actually, there still no evidence that Joe spoke to anyone on these calls but Hunter. Hunter may have had the phone on speaker mode, so the business associates could hear Joe speak, but has anyone come forward and said they spoke to Joe directly on one of these calls? Or just that they were listening in as Hunter sold the illusion of a connection to Joe?

And for those who need a refresher, evidence is defined as, "the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid. And I'm looking for hard evidence. Not the Lionel Hutz/Simpsons hearsay and conjecture kinds of evidence.

 

Hunter's former business associate said biden spoke 20+ times to them. Hell, the NYT's even admits it's a well known fact. Yet here you and others are denying it.

Calls took place, things were said, nobody knows what. Speculate all you like but don't tell me what to believe or not.

 

FACT: the WH and Biden said he NEVER talked business to his son nor every spoken to any of his son's business associates. So you really think that isn't a lie? This isn't speculation.

 

Again, I didn't deny they spoke. So What? Proof of what they spoke about is what is missing. They MAY have discussed money, drugs, prostitutes, unwanted children , or just the weather. Who knows? Not me nor anyone else in this thread.

 

Here's the way I look at.

Unless and until there's evidence that Biden actually discussed business, his comment about not discussing business was misleading because he omitted that he spoke with Hunter's business associates, but not a lie. I certainly understand why he didn't volunteer that he spoke with them, assuming it wasn't business related, because it would have been a self-inflicted speculation fiasco.

Ultimately, unless some evidence comes out about payments to Biden or some sort of quid pro quo, it doesn't even remotely factor into my decision making on Biden vs Trump. A misleading statement doesn't come anywhere close to the bad things Trump has said and done. I'm almost certain to vote against Biden in the primary if there's a viable alternative (not RFK), but if Biden gets the nomination and is running against Trump then this is meaningless.

 

So still zero hard evidence. Just conjecture that Biden may have talked to some of Hunter's business associates in the past. And the NY Times story stays business was never discussed in these alleged meetings.

A VPOTUS usually has 2 meetings a day on his schedule. Hunter and Joe were also reported to talk several times a day, especially after Beau's death. Would we really expect anyone to remember every innocuous conversation Joe has? And again, there is zero evidence these conversations were nothing but innocuous.

If all you have is Joe lying about actually having innocuous conversations with Hunter's business associates, that's a giant nothing-burger.
