Audit the Audit one of the very best! Been using his vids for class projects for several years now, having my students also grading the encounters and tying them to various topics we cover.

Thing I like about AtA is his bringing in various applicable state laws (saves me some time lol) but also because he's not afraid to call out citizens as well. The channel got even better when he hired a voiceover actor to narrate the vids.

Watch Lackluster too. Was the Valdosta incident the one that occurred on a side of a road on a sunny day? I recall seeing one vid where someone had their wrist broken.

On the other hand, there are 1a auditors I can't watch, e.g. Amangansett Press. Guy is kind of a jackwad. Claims to be reasonable but is lightening quick to insult police and others, and stir controversy.

ATA brings the receipts. They are very thorough and guide the listener with relevant case law and statutory interpretations and sort of let the lister draw their own conclusions. Less emotional and more analytical. Very fair to both sides. 10/10

Yes, you are remembering correctly about the Valdosta video. I talked to Lack over email a couple times when the bodycam was released. He made a video not too long after.

I watch a couple 1a Auditors. I don't have the patience for a lot of them. You don't have to be a d!ck to prove your point. The best, imo, is Jeff Gray from Florida. A vet that just holds a sign that says "God Bless the Homeless Veterens." He is top notch. Very respectful. I watched an interview a while back and he had been arrested around 14 times and the charges dropped 12 of those times, if that tells you anything. Those numbers may not be exact, but their close. I'd say 2nd best, imo, is Long Island Audit. Many of the others are too brash and I don't find it entertaining. I don't watch any 2a auditors. I've seen a few clips from an armed fisherman, but that's about it.

Then I'm sure I saw it on lackluster's channel.

Yup, LI Audit too. Just came across honoryouroath not too long ago....yt's algorithm. Ridiculous. The level of reaction to a sign demonstrates the level of absurdity.

If you think he's caustic, check out some of Ely's videos if they're still up. I remember he went to jail at some point. Brutal.

I've been looking for story for the past few minutes and was wondering if anyone else had heard about it. I was listening to the YT video on the way to work. It was described like this:

A judge retired in disgrace several years ago. His son is elected as sheriff. The (not) judge swore him in, meaning that he was never officially sworn in so he didn't have the powers of arrest or anything like that because he wasn't officially LEO. This went on for 2 years for every deputy that joined that force. The video talked of possibly letting most everyone out of jail because none of their arrests were valid.

Does this ring any bells for anyone?

    Delaware State Police
Lawsuit for 1st, 4th, and 14th Amendment violations

Quite a few state police agencies in this thread. State sponsored free speech retaliation, literally. How many cops conspire to violate this man? Is it necessary to steal someone's property and destroy it? They took his sign, after they had already been advised that they aren't to take signs. Is it ok for cops to kick people for no reason while smiling directly in their face? Is it necessary for two cops to go 100mph in a 55 to pull over someone who hasn't done anything wrong, conspiring with your cop buddy on the way to pull this man over on bullshit pretenses? Nah. They have also been advised not to pull anyone over for giving the middle finger. 3 cops, a supervisor, and a prosecutor. Everyone knew this was BS, and no one cared. Pulling someone over without any reasonable suspicion and threatening them with arrest because their feelings were hurt seems like a culture issue.

But they'll get 'em next time! He must be punished.

    Video:

Sorry, I couldn't find an article to go with it that wasn't behind a paywall.

ooopsies, I guess they care who he is now.

Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson handcuffed and detained while trying to help girl at rodeo: Report (msn.com)

“While assessing the patient in a very loud and chaotic environment, confusion developed with law enforcement on the scene and Dr. Jackson was briefly detained and was actually prevented from further assisting the patient,” Jackson's office said in a statement obtained by the Texas Tribune. “He was immediately released as soon as law enforcement realized that he, as a medical professional, was tending to the young girl’s medical emergency.”
    ....................
“He was trying to tell them that he was a doctor and probably trying to tell him who he was, to be honest. And they were screaming that they did not effing care who he was,” she said. “And the next thing I knew, they had him on the ground, grabbed him by the shirt, threw him on the ground, face first into the concrete, and had him in cuffs.”

She added that the police quickly uncuffed him after finding out who he was and were apologetic.

    Meanwhile in Georgia .......................

"Officer Colleran was dispatched to a call wanting a juvenile removed from the area. Officer Colleran made contact with a young man that explained he was in the area because he wanted to do yard work: pulling weeds, cutting grass and trimming hedges to save up for a PlayStation. The young man was polite, respectful and truthful. Officer Colleran, a gamer himself, was impressed with the young man and thought he would help him reach his goal. Officer Colleran and some of his friends were able to not only get this young man the video game system but a gift card to pay for the membership so he could play immediately. Officer Colleran made sure that this young man knew they would play on the same team online soon! #wearehapeville"

    Lawsuit filed this week

What is it with cops and dogs? Someone take this guy's badge and gun. A lady calls police for help. This cop is an A-hole right off the rip, cussing and threatening to kill this lady's dog. This was a call for help, not someone accused of any crime. She needed help from the police and one shot her.

He shot this lady in the shin. He was shooting at... a Pomeranian! He shot in their immediate direction, and by their, I mean that another cop was standing right next to the lady. Something tells me that if he had hit his partner, he wouldn't be aggressive, cussing, and denying that he shot him. What a puss.

This dude shows zero remorse. He gets aggressive with a woman he just shot. "I didn't shoot you!" basically calling her a liar. If you listen, he says "Shit" when he gets a little closer, sounding like he knows what he had done, but continues saying "I didn't shoot you, your dog scratched you." Then he lies to what sounds like a supervisor saying he didn't shoot her, and saying that she "sent her dogs out" insinuating that she sent them out to attack the cops. I hope this lady gets paid!

This guy should be fired. Or bought a coffee depending on who you talk to.

Picture for a Pomeranian for reference.... Her's was a Pomeranian mix, so it could be a little bit larger, tipping the scale at 8 to 10lbs.

WATCH: Arkansas deputy shoots at Pomeranian but hits woman standing on porch instead

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ark. (KATV) — A lawsuit has been filed against a Columbia County deputy, the sheriff, and the sheriff's office after the deputy shoots at a dog, but strikes a woman standing on her front porch instead.

Tina Hight, the woman who was shot in August 2022, still has the bullet lodged in her shin. She's now not only dealing with anxiety but also continuous doctor's appointments.

In the video, Columbia County Deputy Brian Williams is heard shouting at the dog: “Get back, get your dog, I’ll kill this ************. Get your God**** dog."

I’m nervous to ever call the police again, that's for sure," Hight said. "I expected him to come for my protection and instead I was the victim."

Arkansas police just hate tiny dogs, apparently. I was looking for more info regarding the previous post and stumbled upon this puss.

This tough guy shot a 9lb chihuahua mix. 9 Pounds. Many people consider their pets as members of the family. What is the punishment? Community service.

    Ex-deputy gets community service in small dog's shooting | News | thecabin.net

The video clip captured by resident Doug Canady went viral Jan. 4. 2019, the night Wallace shot Reese’s, a 9-pound, Chihuahua-mix breed.

At some point during his conversation with Canady, the former deputy said the dog “lunged” toward him, which is when he reacted by firing “one round into the animal ... striking and stopping the threat.

Following the negotiated plea, Wallace was ordered to complete 80 hours of community service within 120 days in lieu of a year-long jail sentence. If the former deputy does not complete the community service hours in the allotted time frame, the one-year sentence would be imposed.

Speaking of South Bend, Indiana, here's an article updated 2 minutes ago. Why do the cops hate transparency so much?

ACLU lawsuit on Indiana police recording law has South Bend plaintiff

SOUTH BEND — A South Bend man who monitors activity of local law enforcement is the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed Tuesday by the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana, claiming the state's new 25-foot “encroachment” law violates his constitutional right to observe and record the police.

The new law that went into effect July 1 prohibits a person from knowingly and intentionally approaching within 25 feet of a law enforcement officer after the officer has ordered the person to stop.

“The unbridled discretion given to law enforcement officers by the new 25-foot law allows for, and invites content and viewpoint-based discrimination,” said Ken Falk, legal director at the ACLU of Indiana, in a prepared statement. “This gives police officers unchecked authority to prohibit citizens from approaching within 25 feet of the officers to observe their actions, even if the actions of the citizens are not and will not interfere with the police.”

In the video recorded by Nicodemus, an officer is seen stepping off what he indicated was 25 feet from the location where Nicodemus and other observers were standing, telling them they had to move further away from the police activity. According to the complaint, after about 12 minutes, another police officer approached Nicodemus and others who were gathered at the first officer's 25-foot designated spot and said that sport was his crime scene, and that everyone had to move back another 25 feet.

    ------------

Just think, if it weren't for cameras, cops like Derek Chauvin could murder people in cold blood, in broad daylight, with little to no repercussions.
