I was on vacation in Spain for 2 weeks at the end of June, and halfway broke my habit of hanging out around this dodgy place, so it's possible my data intel is no longer completely current... And my total interaction with recent transphobia threads has been to read the thread title, roll my eyes, and then usually close the browser tab (just to open a new tab 15 seconds later and come right back to Too Hot).
Spain?! Very cool. I’ve been hearing Spain and more so Portugal are awesome places to visit and interact with the locals. Probably slightly more interesting than TooHot. Hehe.
I can only speak for Barcelona, Madrid, and Toledo. You might not care to talk politics with them (75%+ are quite happily socialist), but a beautiful country with beautiful people. Very kind and generous, and being only ~40 years removed from a dictatorship, they seem still very much in love with their current democratic form of government, which I found refreshing.
One thing's for sure, if biden suddenly had questions about the covid vax, they'd dump him in a new york minute.
I'm not a republican. Try again. But regardless. Returning to the old white guy stereotype is not progress at all. It's regression. You literally have the oldest whitest guy in history leading your party. Weird flex.
Please. You can quibble about the democratic party but not regarding its diverse representation in leadership.
He said "presidential" cycle. The dems have resorted back to the old white guy and will likely do so again. That isn't progress in "presidential cycles".
