Key word is LOST. You can make excuses until the cows come home but the fact is trump candidates lost and it wasn’t close to 100% success rate unless you are some delusional trump maga person(I know you aren’t).

Someone who isn’t blocking most of them should start a poll for our resident righties on Trump vs Desantis. I’m curious how it breaks down on this board of presumably well educated folks.

That’s cute pretending it doesn’t matter to you who the president is. Can’t wait for your next thread shilling for Trump.

The Republican Party has become a cult of personality. The polls showing him with possibly the largest lead by a candidate in a party primary confirm the Donald's influence over self-identified Republicans. If Trump endorses candidates in party primaries in the 2024 cycle the overwhelming majority of those candidates will end up as the party's nominees. While Trump's influence over the electorate as whole is declining he is still the most charismatic and persuasive politician among those voters that identify as Republicans because to them when the Democrats go after Dear Donald they are going after the ordinary people that support him and what better way to tell the Dems to shove it than to support Trump.

I think a majority of both parties are idiots. You guys put forth 2 of the worst candidates in the last century so you don’t have anything to Bragg about either.

Biden's been great. If he were an R, you'd be fine with him. Clinton, with all of her faults, was still a vastly better choice than Trump. And neither of them would try to overthrow our democracy like Trump did.

LOL. Let's stop with the partisan crap. He has not been good. The only people benefitting from Biden's term are rich people. The poor and middle class are suffering with the huge increase in prices for groceries and housing and gas. Trump was awful also. See, it's not hard to be objective when you are independent. It's something you know nothing about.

You can have your own opinion but not your own facts. The US always sucks for those at the bottom but that is how it is designed and the facts are counter to your statement regarding winners and losers in the post pandemic economy. I wont say it was Biden's doing though as it is really a result of supply and demand of low wage workers but the bottom 10% are fairing well in this economy.

The bottom saw unprecedented wage increases in excess of inflation and are doing better than ever.. which is a very low bar.

Low earners in the US enjoy fastest wage growth

News flash.... "REAL WAGES" are inflation adjusted. Try looking at the graph and data again without a bias. The fact that anecdotal prices are up in your shopping bag doesnt change the data. Im sorry it doesnt say what you want.

I know what "real wages" means. The issue is how they calculate "real wages". Real Wages are EX food and energy. Try calculating for those and get back to me.

Sorry chief, BLS calculates real wages based on CPI-U, which includes food and energy. Better luck next time.

LOL. He's so good his approval rating is what again? Seriously, turn off msnbc and cnn sport. I'm not partisan. I think Obama was a good President accept for Obamacare. I thought Trump sucked. So yeah, really partisan there. See, it's easy to be a keyboard cowboy when all you do is play one side like you. I'd say I expect better from you but I don't.

    1. I am a Republican.
    2. I don’t like Trump and think he is bad for the party.
    3. Biden has been far from “great” and it is almost embarrassing that this country has an 80 year-old president who is clearly showing his age physically and especially mentally.
    4. It is even more embarrassing as a country that it looks like it will be Biden vs Trump once again. What joke and the next five years are going to be a complete circus.

You tell me. Doesn't change the fact that the BLS calculates real wages based on CPI-U, which includes food and energy. You gonna admit you were wrong? Just say 'my bad' and move on.

Yes, Obamacare didn't do that. Just shifted the cost to people like me who didn't have corporate healthcare. My insurance went from 250 a month for my wife and 2 kids to 1,250 a month 18 months later after Obamacare was implemented. I want universal healthcare. But how Obama did it wasn't good.
