Hey... I can't stand the Noles...for a LOT of reasons. And my disdain for them goes back to the late 60's. And I can be around Dawg fans but FSU fans...nope! Long story. Having said that, let's give the Capt a break. For years he has been a pretty civil poster.
Never had a problem with you myself but it did irk me that you seemed to make your exit as soon as the series turned back our way and you realized fsu was in a mess with taggert. I forget your reasons for leaving here as well as too hot but I always saw it as a way to duck the incoming losses. One win for yall and you're back.....
I think that is a fair criticism. I left because UGA, Bama, etc had so flipped recruiting on its head that by figuring out how to cheat at an industrial level that it was no longer a level playing field and college football only had 5 or so schools playing for the NC. I think NIL has kind of level the playing field back to what it was but not totally and it is going to take a few years for that to show up on the field. Still do not follow CFB or recruiting like I use to. Not planning on posting a lot, strange set of circumstances led me to check on the status of recruiting and saw UF has a good class and wanted to see what this board was saying and then saw the topic of conference expansion. BTW, love the fact you all have a recruit named Kendall Jackson in your class. That is going to be a lot of fun for several years. UF should do Instagram stories of people hanging out with him and title it "Chillin' with a Kendall Jackson."
Fair enough. Recruiting has always been dirty but Bama/Saban really took it to a new level. Jimbo had FSU right there for a little but couldn't keep up the with them at every angle. Remember it was Jimbo just last year that said NIL deals have been happening they just weren't legal so I still think it's a bit of a copout but like I said, never had a problem with your presence and I don't recall you trolling or being obnoxious like some other rival posters. For the record yall would have gotten spanked the covid year as well.....
I will not dispute that. Not sure there has ever been a worse year to take have a new coach take over a program than at the end of '19.
There is also an insider forum on this website which does not allow rival posters. The original purpose of the free boards on sites like this was that rivals fans could weight in on the free boards.
