There is a lengthy thread in the Pub discussing the funniest movies of all time. Of course, the Mel Brooks movies were discussed along with Monty Python's Holy Grail, Airplane and Caddyshack among others.

 

When I was younger, I thought Animal House was the funniest movie I ever saw.

 

I enjoyed Animal House but Blazing Saddles was already my favorite and has remained my favorite. Animal House hasn't aged well.

 

How do you mean? I still see Animal House as one of the funniest movies ever.

 

Funniest behind Blazing Saddles, Airplane, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Young Frankenstein. I could make a longer list if I dug back into the sixties.
