I didn't take your post to suggest you didn't feel for him. I was really referring to his office saying he's fine. No, he is not.

I was thinking that he was having a seizure when I first saw the video. Not every seizure causes you to go into convulsions. Some people's seizures (absence seizure) causes them to stare. *edit* A stroke definitely makes sense too. He really needs to go to the hospital
I think at a certain age people need to take competency exams to drive and to govern. Maybe a test every two years after the age of 75.
I hope after he made his reassurances to the press, he made his way to the nearest MRI. My husband has had 2 TIA's (mini-strokes), one virtually undetectable, one that took 12 hours to resolve. Brain scans were taken both times.
