Mitch has been struggling with something for a while. Really wondered why he ran again last time but power is hard to relinquish. He will probably go quickly once he is out of office.

Not sure what this is, maybe just a TIA, and don't mean to rumor monger. But it was a public appearance. Anyone with relevant expertise, which I lack, have a better idea

 

In fairness, he returned, and his office says he's fine

 

I'm not a fan of McConnell's politics, but as a human, I didn't like to see that happen to him. I understand his office doing damage control, but it didn't look good to my eyes. Hopefully, he is really ok.

The man should have been sent to the hospital for evaluation immediately, not back out there on the podium, smh.

 

Agreed. I didn't mean to suggest that I didn't feel for him. Don't read the Twitter comments.

That looked serious. I do hope he is OK. He is a human. I felt terrible about his fall.

As a priest I used to know would say about such incidents, "it is the path we are all on...."
