So your theory is that changing the composition of something only matters if involves the most abundant gas in the mixture? A pretty dumb perspective from a member of a species that survives on oxygen on a planet in which oxygen isn't even close to the most common element in the atmosphere. But not too surprising. The sort of thing that makes sense if you make sure not to think too much about something.

BTW, the answer is water vapor, which itself increases in the atmosphere as other gases increase the temperature of the planet.

Nope. But glad you know the most abundant greenhouse gas in atmosphere. You are part of the few that do. And that is bipartisan….

So, since that isn't your theory, why do you keep bringing it up? To try to appear like you know more than other people, when, in fact, you don't really?

you almost have it, he knows less than almost everyone else.

Apropos to nothing I am reminded of Carlins quote

“Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”

Yeah I think that's it. I've seen right-wing GW deniers bring up the water vapor thing here for years.

I will not repeat the post, but you posted "you to ------ to understand." THe insult was not reported by the person to whom it was directed. I was not the Mod who deleted it, but I agree with him.

I applaud you in the fact that you have chosen too not be so hypocritical to just tell others what to do while not conserving personally. But of course, in fine liberal fashion you state you have done way more, sorry WAY more than me to conserve. You don't even know my name, have any idea where and how I live my life life yet you critisize with your pompous condescending, I'm a liberal and know everything way. Continue living in your fairy tale that you are "Envirogator" crusader of the saving the planet, I'll continue in mine!!

Given your attitude on global warming, I think it's a fair assumption to say he's done way more than you. Also, your initial post regarding this, post 284, was pompous and condescending.

So Mr. Agman, since you started the "tell me what you've done" why don't you go ahead and tell us what you have done to reduce your carbon footprint.

101 seems warm for gulf water I. FL. I’m pretty sure that’s what my hot tub temperature is.

Like a hot tub: Water temperatures off Florida soar over 100 degrees

On Monday, as much of the country stewed in bubbling heat, a boiling milestone was hit — a buoy in Florida registered a jaw-dropping 101.1 degrees Fahrenheit water temperature.

The water temperatures recorded Sunday and Monday would challenge the record for hottest sea surface temperature in the world. While official world water temperature records aren't kept, a 99.7 degree temperature recorded in Kuwait Bay is considered the world record at this time. Due to factors like proximity to land and the silty nature of the water, the temperatures recorded off Florida would have to go through an extensive verification process.
