For those interested in seeing former players play. There is a scrimmage and fan fest today at Santa Fe College gym.
Maybe I missed it, but I don't remember seeing any pictures of our previous coach hanging out with Coach Donovan and his dad. Maybe Coach Donovan didn't want to cast too big of a shadow over him?
I suspect that is the case. Both Billy and Mike are good guys and Mike probably would have welcomed him. But Billy was a tough act to follow. Kind of like the Zooker following Spurs.
More than a few years ago my wife and I were flying to Chicago Midway on Southwest out of JAX and when we got on the shuttle from the long term parking to the terminal we ran into BD Sr. We asked him if he was flying to Chicago to see a game and he was. We said that we were also flying to Chicago and asked if he had some extra tickets for us. He didn't. LOL.
One thing not mentioned in the article is that Brian Klatsky was responsible for Scottie Lewis coming to UF. It should be fun watching these guys play on TV. I thought that I would be in Louisville staying with my daughter and would go to the games, but that is not going to happen.

What's not to love?! Multi-generational Gator talent, with the Green/Humph/Brewer/ championship creds. Then there's some of the players who transferred in and out of the program coming back to play on a Gator-themed squad. Love seeing Egor, Keith Stone & Fleming/Jones/Locke etc. coming together, not to mention the coaches and managers. Big nostalgia!

TBT 2023 Bracket - TBT and TST Says they play at 4PM EST; that would be 5PM EDT, but I'm guessing that they meant EDT. May end up confusing folks in the Cayman Islands trying to watch. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
