News flash, it's going to get HOTTER! I would recommend that the adults in the room suggest to their children that buying coastal homes or property a couple of feet above sea level may not be the greatest investment going forward.
Why? Ben Shapiro, one of the right-wing's top thinkers, says if the water rises and their houses are underwater all they have to do is sell and move.
Oh, I thought the right wing actually say there is no climate change, coal fired power plants make for higher air quality and Trump has never even told a tiny tiny lie.
Don't worry, govt is on the ball... White House cautiously opens the door to study blocking sun’s rays to slow global warming
dango - btw you may be interested in the latest information from the Greenland Ice Core (evaluation) studies. They are putting out to the public they found a core with plant and soil in it suggesting the area of the core had NO ICE. About 400,000 years ago. Now what that means is that Greenland HAS NOT ALWAYS been covered with miles of Ice. They even speculate that a good portion of Greenland had NO ICE. But hey, climate change does not happen? Right??
Everyone seems to be worried about "A-I". I'm more worried about human beings, especially the dumb - asses that want to spray metal into the atmosphere to reflect the suns rays. Just like that dude that wanted to go cheap to take billionaires to the Titanic. What could go wrong?
Today was hotter. See what the reports say, but I bet records were broken in a lot of places, if not global
Actually, my kids told us not to buy retirement property in the Keys. Guess they don't want to inherit sub-sea level property. KW is only a couple of feet about sea level to begin with. This fear of inundation has not affected the housing market, however.
It just hit 101,105 F in McKinneyy. Everyone there is dead. I’ve been there I call it a good start Dallas Weatherman Has Hilarious Explanation For Temperature Typo: ‘Everyone in McKinney Is Dead’
This is saying a whole lot of nothing. If you’re worried about losing your home, buying on the coastline of Florida has always a game of Russian roulette. The Earth warming a degree and sea levels rising 9 inches [insert Butthead laugh] didn’t change that. It has always been a gamble.
We likely spend more money on federal government employees defecating while on shift than we do in renewable energy research and development.
Well we get about two weeks in the year to brag about our weather, so I'm gonna take advantage. Currently 71 with a high today of 80 and a low of 60 tonight. Check back with me during winter and I'll be all . . .
You’ll probably have another record breaking snowfall this winter, since China refuses to cut their carbon emissions.
Just left MN Detroit lakes area from vacation a couple of days ago - I don’t think it ever got to 80. It was gorgeous. Then headed to Montana just east of Yellowstone and it was high 70s. Seemed very nice but local said it was warm. Now in Portland Oregon, tomorrow head to Oregon coast, then down to SF area. Anything to beat the texas heat. Was 106 at home a couple of days ago.
