Me too. I’d be a great president. Alas I tend to speak the truth and calling the vast majority of the GOP shitheads would be used against me by big media.

Actually when I think about it being president of a country where a big $ of the population are shitheads isn’t all that. I’d much rather win the powerball.

Everyone should read Judge Lamberth’s findings of fact and conclusions of law on finding obstruction with an official proceeding if you really indefensibly believe the election was stolen. As Marcy notes, these are the legal standards applied to date in numerous J6 prosecutions to convict even those who did not enter the Capitol of conspiracy based on planning and directing knowing there was an official proceeding to certify the election

The deprivation of rights charges referenced in the media reports concerning the target letter suggests that he may be charged with involvement in triggering the riot. Based On the 4 day invitation, my suspicion is that the indictment will be on Friday with the indictment unsealed next week. I note we haven’t hear reports of anyone of else getting a target letter. We may hear about pleas too

I think the most recent target letter contains more than just J6 riot triggering charges, if they are included. Reports are former Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has been contacted by Smith and Ducey is talking with him. Former Arizona State Senator Rusty Bowers has been contacted and talked with Smith as well.

Bad day for ketchup at ML.

Georgia heating up and a May trial date on the Florida case. Racketeering charges has to have a lot of old Georgia money worried. Think Sideny Powell will sing as the computer trespass charge seems like a slam dunk. Organized by a group with someone in charge to take confidential data and disseminate it. That happened.

“Series of crimes”: Georgia DA reportedly has evidence to bring “sprawling” racketeering indictment (msn.com)

Fulton County, Ga. District Attorney Fani Willis has amassed enough evidence in the investigation of former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss to charge a "sprawling racketeering indictment" next month, according to The Guardian. Willis previously said she was considering racketeering charges but the report adds new details about the scope of the charges prosecutors are expected to seek early next month.

Georgia's racketeering statute requires prosecutors to show the existence of an "enterprise" and a pattern of racketeering activity predicated on at least two "qualifying" crimes," The Guardian's Hugo Lowell explained. In the Trump probe, Willis has evidence to pursue a racketeering indictment predicated on statutes related to influencing witnesses and computer trespass, two sources briefed on the matter told the outlet. The state's racketeering statute is more expansive than the federal one because "any attempts to solicit or coerce the qualifying crimes can be included as predicate acts of racketeering activity, even when those crimes cannot be indicted separately," Lowell explained.
    .........................

The computer trespass charge, where prosecutors would have to show that defendants improperly used a computer or network to interfere with a program or data, could include a breach of voting machines in Coffee County, the two sources told The Guardian. A group of Trump operatives funded by former Trump lawyer Sidney Powell accessed the county's voting machines and copied sensitive data. The data from the Dominion Voting System machines was then uploaded to a site that allowed election deniers to download the materials in an effort to prove Trump's debunked election fraud conspiracy theories.
    .............
Texts obtained by CNN showed that operatives hired by Powell also sought to use the data to try to decertify other statewide elections. Former federal prosecutor Michael Zeldin told CNN in April that the texts suggest violations of multiple state and federal laws.

"What we have here is unauthorized access to this privileged computer data," Zeldin said at the time. "There is a conspiracy to acquire and improperly distribute that data. There is probably a crime of interfering with the rights of the people of Georgia to have a free and fair election. And this is a series of crimes, a pattern of criminal activity, then it could possibly violate the Georgia RICO statute, which criminalizes a series of criminal activities by the same person or group of persons, so there's a lot at stake here." He added that the texts may be even "more damning" than Trump's call to Raffensperger.

Trump prosecutions consume campaign funds and messaging as charges mount (msn.com)

To illustrate how Trump’s criminal defense is swallowing his campaign, just over half of the money he raised last quarter went not to the campaign itself but to an affiliated PAC that is footing the legal bills. Of more than $35 million raised between March and June, the campaign received $17.7 million, according to the latest report to the Federal Election Commission. The rest went to the Save America PAC, which will report its latest finances on July 31 but has been spending millions on lawyers representing Trump and allies in the multiple ongoing cases, according to FEC disclosures.

“A lot of money is going to legal and people who don’t do much, and not a lot is left over to do marketing and advertising,” said one Trump adviser, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal plans. “A lot of the money we’re raising is just going to legal.”

former overstock CE says he has kompromat on Jack Smith. This could be AI generated and fed to someone or my bet it is a bluff. is this a chargeable offense to threaten the prosecutor?

Trump-loving ex-CEO claims to have 'naughty' evidence against Jack Smith (msn.com)

Former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne claims to have material that could be used against special counsel Jack Smith.

The right-wing former tech mogul responded to Donald Trump's revelation that he had received a target letter in the Jan. 6 investigation by suggesting he had damning video involving Smith, who has twice served posts to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, reported Newsweek.

"It might also come down to what I have on Jack Smith," Byrne tweeted. "On a previous stop on his journey, Jack was a very naughty boy. And was videotaped in his naughtiness. He doesn't know that yet. But I suppose he does now."

Anyone notice a trend? While Trump's legal problems aren't hurting him and may actually be beneficial insofar as Republican primary voters are concerned they could be having an impact on Trump's general election prospects. That being said, adding the standard caveat it's still way too early to make a credible prediction.

Trumps new attorney doesn’t seem to be a value add..

Fox News Anchor John Roberts Gives Trump Lawyer Two Brutal Doses Of Reality During Live Interview

The attorney claimed the legal team wants to have camera’s in the courtroom so that “all American can see what’s happening,” leading Roberts to remind Lauro that Trump was the one who originally did not want court proceedings to be filmed.

    Snip
You also can’t have cameras in federal court. So I think the point is probably moot,” said Roberts.

You can ask for it, you can ask for it,” insisted Lauro.

“You can ask, but, you’re not going to get ’em,” Roberts wryly grinned.

Trump Indicted For Murder Of Tupac

LAS VEGAS — The infamous unsolved murder of rapper Tupac Shakur on the streets of Las Vegas, once thought to be a hit by the Southside Crips, is now believed to be the work of none other than former President Donald J. Trump, who authorities believe acted alone. Trump has been indicted for the murder.

A charge of murder in the first degree was brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith. "Tupac was murdered on Flamingo Road, less than two miles from where Trump Hotel later opened in 2017," he said. "Coincidence? I think not!"

Not sure his tiny hands and fingers have the requisite strength to hold and fire a hand cannon like a Glock 40 caliber.

Police Have Found the Gun That Killed Tupac

edit to add another fire arm that should be banned….

I read a speculative Tweet thread stating that Jack Smith may be planning to carpet bomb Trump with charges in multiple jurisdictions. 1. Miami Classified Docs. 2. DC 1/6. 3. DC Stealing the classified docs. 4. NJ showing them to other people. 5. Concurrent fake electors prosecutions with Georgia, Michigan, etc. 6. ? Wire fraud with his stop the steal fundraising. On and on it will go.
