I think spitting on someone is assault and battery so at a minimum (at least from most) would warrant some sort of retaliation.
Politely I answer, the question goes unanswered per the lyrics AND the video... ...and the listener is left to his own devices. Mine tell me dude's FOS, nothing will happen...it's just a country song... Yours, and your fellow leftist robotic programees, have somehow arrived at the same elaborate boogeyman of your wettest dreams--a KKK rally!!! Need a cigarette after that big O there buddy?
Ps--Georgia still sucks. And so does Aldean. But damn, what a nothing publicity stunt. CMT hasn't got this much play since Garth n Shania took Nashville by hurricane in the 90s...
I feel this song was a missed opportunity at unifying over it's horribleness. &, yet, it's not even the worst bro country song about a small town. I'm clearing my head out in a few hours. Seeing X tonight!!
Yes, he is a really good dude. His taste in music lately is highly questionable though. It's almost completely politically driven. I long for the days of riding in the car with him listening to 70s and 80s rock.
Yeah, it's weird that since Aldean is so big into law and order, he didn't talk about thugs overrunning our government buildings, attacking law enforcement officers, threatening to kill elected officials and generally trying to overthrow our democracy. Must have been an oversight.
This is not legal advice. https://www.solersimonlaw.com/post/...he punishment for, term not exceeding one year. "If a person splits on a police officer, a firefighter, or emergency medical personnel, then they can be charged with a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison." When Rude, Nasty Behavior Becomes Criminal | Orlando Criminal Defense Lawyer. "Spit on a cop, and you’ve got felony battery on a law enforcement officer."
There it is. We're only ever allowed to talk about January 6th, now until the end of time... until of course you find your next Boogeyman which I'm sure will be sooner rather than later.
Yes, which is going to happen next? An unruly protest by leftists in any given city in America or a riot at the Capitol? My money is on the unruly protests in (name any major city, especially those in blue states).
Rap is mostly entertainment, DMX entertainment...no different than this Jason Aldean song. While many rap songs do speak of real scenarios that happen in the inner city, it's not like we don't already know about this and they are shedding light on a problem most people aren't aware of. Perhaps with some early groups like NWA, it brought attention to the environment, but most rap since the early 90's have been steeped largely in entertainment or situations such artists thrust themselves into via taking their own entertainment too seriously. The Tupac/Biggie feud was an excellent exhibition in marketing entertainment.
Don't blame those posers on being woke. They usually are pandering to the fans on the right worrying only about selling albums. Your "woke" artists like Tyler Childers, Sturgil Simpson, Willie Nelson et Al are putting out real country music.
Yeah, he also didn’t mention CHOP/CHAZ. As a matter of fact, the song was more about disorder and violence in general and not about specific riots. But if he doesn’t mention Jan 6th then I guess it proves something to people who are looking for something sinister.
I really don't understand that kind of stuff. 350 posts into this thread, someone mentions Jan. 6 and you complain that's all you're ever allowed to talk about.
Are you supposed to have a pre-set amount of references to January 6th in every Too Hot thread, even if the thread has absolutely nothing to do with it? That doesn't exactly help your point. You want to get back on topic now?
