DMX was more likely to be played on MTV, at least back in the day when MTV played music videos, it was. Problem with your question is CMT is owned by MTV, so if MTV was okay with playing DMX, why aren't they okay with playing Aldean?

That DMX song wasn’t mainstream, and I don’t believe it had a video. I’ll tell you this, though… even in circles of people who listen to rap, that line is pretty famous for having gone too far. Bottom line, there was no need to cancel it, because it wasn’t “out there” like that. I’m sure there are plenty of songs over the years that are buried on all genres of albums that have cancel-worthy lyrics. Even our Star Spangled banner has some questionable lyrics in a verse that we don’t normally sing.
Jewish people are actually praised in hip-hop for their financial acumen and intelligence. It’s stereotypical, but generally positive. You’ll hear boasts about having a Jewish lawyer or something like that as a status symbol or indication of success. Not saying it’s right, but Jewish people are generally positively referenced in rap music.

What’s funny in all this that 715 appears to be absolutely clueless about how much censorship MTV engaged in back when they played music videos. Hell, Tom Petty might have been one of their most concerned artists… even had his Alice in Wonderland themed censored after an idiot parent group claimed it promoted canibalism. This song with “let’s roll another joint” was edited to replace “joint” with a nonsense word. He was up there, anyway. Along with Madonna. Shit that seems bland by todays standards. Anyone with a pot leaf image on their clothes had it blurred out. MTV was definitely not the place for anything controversial…
It didn't have a video and it wasn't released as a single, it was an album cut. Pretty gruesome content, but it was him playing into his "Dark Man X" persona and rapping from the viewpoint of the devil and engaging in horrorcore, which was a subgenre of rap in the 90s. Notice how that poster still can't tell us what song about rape was played on MTV and BET. I guess he thought he could just throw out a random lie about rap and no one would check him on it LOL.
