Thank you for posting this clip Bobby! I’ve searched online for that video from time to time because it’s one of my favorite memories from the Swamp but I haven’t been able to find it. I remember being smack in the middle of the student section chanting “Lito Lito” and seeing him waving his arms getting into the chant you just had this feeling that he was going to respond and boy did he. Then seeing Holtz stunned face on the Jumbotron after was priceless.

I thought under the last staff they had gotten him down below 400 at one point? If I had to guess, it seems this nutrition/weight staff has decided to maybe lay off the constant push to lose weight and instead focus on some other metrics? Just a guess.

 

This kid has an uphill battle along with Arik Gilbert.

 

Or Smoke has a clean driver's license & a respect for women?!

 

Mullen did the weirdest head shaking crap while he was here. This, Darth Vader, Not caring about the shoe throw, "we'll do recruiting in the offseason", etc.

 

On the plus side he didn't start his dog at QB, make BBQ sauce or fail to brush.

 

When we hired McElwain there were a lot of comments about Foley not looking at Mullen because there were "personality conflicts" between the two. Which struck me as weird at the time, since I didn't recall there being any evidence of Mullen having a personality when he was OC here. Looks like Foley might have had a point, though it doesn't get him off the hook for McElwain (who wasn't exactly a personally inspiring figure either).
