Yeah. He was one of the players I was referring to as one that we are in pursuit (Dealyn Evans is one of the others). Are we running the Wide Tackle Six? We are loading up on DL this cycle. I guess you take them if you can and trim the roster over the next 12 months to make room. I don't hate it.
As CBN put it we're in the "talent Aquisition business" with emphasis on acquiring talent.... however it needs to be done.
Yea i'm wondering which 4 because it seems as those we've moved on from Evans now that we've gotten Kendall's commitment
I keep hearing Evans name and then at the bottom of this article they mention an in-conference flip to the Gators. Not sure who they are taking about but it seems Evans is still lingering. Fact or Fiction: Georgia will finish with top 2024 recruiting class - Rivals.com
247 Uga - 1 Fla - 3 Ala - 4 Tenn - 6 ATM - 12 Lsu- 13 Aub - 15 Okl - 16 Usc - 17 Texas - 19 Ark - 20 Miss st -29 Ole Miss - 30 Kentucky - 36 Vandy - 41 Missouri - 54
Using ratings from 247, we had an average player rating over 91, three times since 2010. Mullen came close a few times but never made it. 2010 - 93.99 (Meyers last year) 2012 - 91.78 (Muschamp) 2023 - 91.41 (Napier's second class) 2024 - Currently at 91.85 with a path to surpass 92. To compete for championships, I think 91 is the floor and you need a 92.5+ class every 3rd year. I think we need some positive press this season for us to get to the next level of recruiting. We're so damn close.
That’s all fine and good (very good actually!) but I think one of the things I love about this class is the balance with playmakers and a 5* QB on offense with speed to burn. Then the defense is loaded with studs, especially at LB if memory serves, Muschamps class was so D-heavy it wasn’t balanced at all (unless that’s Driskelks class). Similarly, wasn’t Urban’s class heavy on D (Easley, Floyd, Orr, Powell)? I love the way CBN approaches recruiting.
