He looks like he can move around the packet well when the pocket falls apart. And he can throw on the run to his right well too. He has above average arm strength and accuracy, but I like that he sees where his receivers are and he gets the ball to them on time. I like that about his game.
Combine that with our RB group and a motivated defense. This season may surprise some experts and a few favored teams along the way.

I've seen some clips of EW3 -- that is good weight he added. He's ripped and looks even quicker/faster. Wilson is 220?!?! Hoping he kept his speed. Dez!!
If Mertz really is the worst QB in the SEC, there must be some damn fine talent out there. The guy looks like somebody who just needs the chance to show what he can do. I think I'll reserve judgement on his actual status/ability level until he demonstrates who he is when he has an OL and some skill position talent to work with. Time will tell.
Not sure dez has been under 450 here. If 439 is accurate I think that is an improvement. I would love to see him under 400 for first game kickoff and under 380 by the end of the season.
Dez is costing himself so much money. He's eating himself into a last day 5/6th Rd draft pick. The best IDL in the NFL are 300 to 340 lbs
