UF likely to receive commitment from CB Teddy Foster sometime in July. Top 3 are UF, UNC, and Miami although he has had several official and unofficial visits to other P5 programs: CB Teddy Foster names Florida in top three (247sports.com) Plays CB and WR splitting time which likely accounts for his 3-star ranking. His film at CB looks 4 stars to me, speed and hips look good. Not sure some of the top programs have taken time to adequately review his skills. Can't say I blame them as Foster is an obvious Gator lean. His sister just graduated UF so he and his family know all about UF. At 6'2"/170, Foster is another tall CB.
I usually roll my eyes when I hear players talk about education but his sister graduating from UF says a lot about how serious his family is about it. It’s no mistake when kids get degrees from UF these days. If his sister got that at home, so did he.
You're welcome. I was surprised Foster just didn't come out and name UF his leader by a mile. The article is very revealing as to his intentions. I guess he wants to have a couple of hats on the table when he makes UF official. I can see Foster growing into a 195 lockdown corner. His frame should take to UF strength and conditioning. He is definitely not going to stay at 170. If he were to concentrate on CB his senior year, he'd likely move up to a mid 4-star ranking.
Three commits per week? This is getting tedious. How much longer until this is all over? Oh, we are up to 20 schollies. I guess we have only 2 more weeks!
I heard on gators breakdown he just started playing football his sophomore year lot's of upside with this young man played WR and CB
Yeah, not that I want them to do so, but from a mathematical perspective, the commitments do have to stop at some point.
The thing I like about him playing both CB and WR in HS is that he obviously has the hands to elevate a pass-breakup situation into an INT. Seems like we don't do that very well as a team the last few years. Turns a good defensive play into a game-changer.
The number of early enrollees in class is exceptional. Lot of kids here for Spring/Summer practice and S&C. Good head start
Online classes have made it easy for students to graduate early. If I wanted to, I could do all my kids work online and he would graduate.
