Years ago when I lived in California, there was a protest outside the US Navy nuclear weapons manufacturing facility. A supply train approached the facility, going very slowly. One of the protesters laid down on the track in front of the train.

The train engineer hit the brakes and laid on the air horn, but the protester refused to move. What the protester didn’t understand is it even going slowly a train has enormous momentum and could not stop in time. The train sliced the guys legs off.

In fairness to the OP, if you thought this was impossible based on the thread title before opening the thread, you're a liar.

 

Maybe vet info and sourcing before rushing to share it? There have been a number of stories or memes espousing conservative or liberal ideals that I have reflexively supported but then vetted the info only to find out it wasn't accurate. No matter how much I agreed or disagreed with it, it's worthless if it isn't accurate or relatively objective.

I'm conservative-ish on many issues. Liberal on others. That also swings with political climates as well.
