The supposedly most secure place on this planet and they can't figure out who it belongs to? Cameras, logs, security all around and they can't pinpoint who brought it in? This should scare all of us that the security can be breached this easily. This is not a partisan deal and all the calls that is belonged to Hunter was only fueled by the fact that this administration misled the public with the lies and distortion of the facts. I don't know and don't really care who it belonged to, except for the breach of security. This needs to be investigated for that fact alone and additional protocols put in place so small bags of white powder can't breach the WH.

At this point, the overriding public interest seems to be proving that you can figure out who managed to bring an illicit substance into the White House and then was dumb enough to leave it behind. And I can only think of one reason why we would prefer looking like we were just unable to do that to the alternative of just naming a suspect and slapping them with a misdemeanor charge.

She makes a critical fundamental mistake in her reasoning.

She assumes people are typically good at their job.

I get it. It sounds unsecure. However, the amount of powder, 200 mg, that was found is a small amount. Unless you conduct a complete physical search of every visitor and employee, you would not find it.

Well then maybe that is what needs to be done!!
How many people could die from 200 MG of.... Rician, Fentanyl, Anthrax.
Maybe the WH should take just a few more precautions????

You could do a strip search of everyone, everyday, and for every tablet/capsule/powder found, run labs for identify. I think that's extreme for the actual threat, and I doubt the public or employees would go along with that.

Or maybe.......... you do all that randomly and anyone found not following protocol gets punished to the fullest extent of the law. Or..... just say we will never know who did it, hope it doesn't happen again, Oh well.....

Randomly doing a thorough search is probably a good idea, although I'm not a security expert by any means. In this case, I doubt we will ever know who brought it in. I realize for some people this is a real concern, others use it for political agenda, and others like myself see it as a non issue.

Edit: Another proposal is to restrict access to visitors to one entrance and employees to a separate entrance. Apparently, they run background checks on all visitors before they arrive and in some cases have alerted LE when they find visitors with outstanding warrants.

It must be Joe’s blow. He must use it to clear his mind so he can keep masterminding this country.

I doubt that, but if he came out and took ownership of it, what could anyone do? Unless Trump drops out of the race, I think he would still easily win re-election. His main winning characteristic last time was that he wasn’t Trump. He still isn’t. Even on coke (which we all know isn’t his), he still isn’t Trump.

Report doesn’t say whose coke it was - just that it wasn’t Hunter’s.
It was someone within the Biden family orbit, and it wasn’t Hunter,” said a second source, referring to the president’s adult son — an admitted recovering drug addict.

Probably Joe. No one’s denying it at this point.

I’m putting my money on Karine Jean-Pierre. If that were my job, I’d need a regular bump, too. No matter how good the money is.
