I just finished boiling up a bushel of boiled peanuts and separated them into quart sized bags. Got half a freezer full. I b ready for football season. Boiled peanuts and Gator football, nothin better.
I hear ya. I just did some lunch time shopping and saw the family size pack of chicken wings at the store and thought, "won't be long now!!!". Though I'm not wishing away summer.
Apparently it's talking season, though I have yet to pay any attention to the SEC media days . . . if they are even going on yet?
Now don't take it wrong, I ain't waiting on football season to start gobbling up these peanuts. Got me an open bag right next to my laptop as I type, just need a little Gator football to add the right atmosphere. The two go together so.
I gotta give it to this board. Usually, we're preseason picks to shock the world, beat GA, and go to Atlanta about this time every year. Not to say any of that can't happen - just that there has been pleasant, if not sobering, expectations this off season.

The offseason seemed at least a little bit shorter with all the portal stuff going on. Between that and early verbals things have been pretty busy. I hardly had a chance to offer up my destain for the Black Unis. HA! The BBQ event, the 'Grill in the Ville' deal with all the commits and current guys - what a perfect place to bond, and see the Gator family in action.
