No, thicker more prominent eyebrows have kind of come back although that one pic seems rather overdone.

Outside of being "anti-woke", he has a total nothing-burger platform. Outside of being a less corrupt mini-me Trump, he has a nothing-burger message. He can't even ignite the Republican party. When it comes to the general election, he is a flat-liner.

one can claim he is executing sloppily. But one could also claim that he has nothing to even execute.

I don’t disagree but neither does Trump. Trump is just a better, more charismatic troll. He upsets democrats more and that’s the ticket to winning over GOP voters. Sad state of affairs.

I am unable to find DeSantis’ platform and policy goals as President on his website. Can someone please point them out? Thanks in advance.

OT: Tim Scott wants me to make me “kneel in prayer”. How is that freedom?

    Biden's Blueprint

OT: Nikki Haley has at least some policy positions. Seems like she has a small Fed government view: fighting against the central government while being the center of that Fed government. Most is foreign policy on her platform.

    Record of Results

OT: Chris Christie has a simple platform… “Truth”. Cool Story bro.

I couldn’t make it all the way through the video, but does DeSantis really think this will get him some votes?

DeSantis has a platform. He wants to make America Florida. Check out all of our new laws. All the culture wars while we face multiple state crises. Which is why he is being rejected nationally. He is too far to the right even for the GOP. If anyone in Florida had brains, he would be recalled.

He’s still the number 2 guy, and has an enormous lead over anyone else. This tells me that MAGA likes, wants, maybe even needs someone to lead a Hate War. Because that is all he stands for.

This from that raging liberal, George Will, in today's WAPO:
"DeSantis, after nearly two months of intensified exposure to non-Floridians, resembles a political Edsel."

Just saw a full-face picture of DeSantis on CNN, advertising an upcoming interview. And his face is orange. Is CNN playing in-your-face games, or is DeSantis actually going that far (Orange Man II) to be Trump?

In stinging rebuke, judge orders Florida to stop funneling frail kids into nursing homes (msn.com)

Middlebrooks ordered a series of remedies designed to allow parents to remove their children from institutions — and make it easier to keep their children at home if they are already there.

The state, Middlebrooks wrote, “is violating the rights of children with medical complexity who rely upon the provision of vital Medicaid services and are trying, in vain, to avoid growing up in nursing homes.” Medicaid is the state’s insurer of last resort for impoverished and disabled Floridians and underwrites the care for virtually all medically complex children, whose medical expenses can cost millions.

Because “the state has refused to engage in efforts to craft any meaningful solutions,” Middlebrooks said he would appoint a court monitor to oversee Florida’s compliance with his order and issue reports every two months. In his searing 79-page order, Middlebrooks recounted the harrowing experiences of several families that testified during the trial, which ran from May 8 through May 19, including the testimony of a 19-year-old woman who spent four years at Kidz Korner, the pediatric wing of a Plantation nursing home.

The woman, Jade Quinones, told the judge she felt lonely and isolated at the facility, that caregivers failed to ensure she remained clean and sanitary, and about “the fear and panic she felt when her trach became dislodged and she waited for someone to help, because without it she cannot breathe,” the judge wrote.

At New College of Florida, a ‘ridiculously high’ number of faculty are gone
“The majority of faculty who have left have not given us any kind of consideration, or notice, or thought or anything,” interim president Richard Corcoran said at a July 6 trustee meeting. Long-term hiring decisions in academia typically take a year or more, and with this year’s hiring season long gone, the school will rely on temporary positions to fill the gap.

It turns out that when you insult people and threaten their jobs, Richard, they don't give you much consideration when they decide to depart for greener pastures.
