"Someone posted on a Tennessee fan board that Maxwell may have committed to Florida during the USA tournament Tim Walton is coaching. Not sure if there is any validity to this. Hate to see him stockpiling talent again if true."
Also a post about they're hearing Vawter and UF rumors. And OU fans are crying about erickson coming here lol along with the others potentially. They really hate us lol. Every other transfer they've been so happy for that player to go where they wanted till this one. That one stung to them. I love it.

 

Count me in. I probably should pick up the tab but, until the fat lady sings, it ain't over yet.

"Perks of coaching the National Team. Walton landed Maxwell. Done deal will be announced after national team returns. They don’t want it to look like being able to poach players as a coach. Lol even when Walton has gotten Linderman, Echoes, Wallace and now Maxwell. This is a perfect example why college coaches shouldn’t be national team coaches!!!!"

 

I will say I had a feeling the whole entire time that Erickson was coming here. Jsut with the fact she wanted playing time and the pitcher we had incoming. I've had the same feeling about Vawter... mostly cause we offer her the academics as well. But her or Maxwell either one would be great.

 

I guess we'll have to wait and see... I heard out there in the ether that Keeny and/or Maxwell are rumored to be Sooner bound. I'm cautiously optimistic we're gonna get Vawter. With that said I hope your hearsay is more true than mine. Lol

I heard Maxwell to Texas. I can't be 100% but I think she originally committed to Texas. Plus she's from Texas.

 

Sound like they are whiny a little bit. HA HA HA!!!!

 

Not that I think it will happen but if we could land both of them..... would be great to let the freshmen have some pressure off and bring them in slowly.

 

Maybe maxwell did a campus visit before leaving for Ireland. Or she had an official visit before committing to OSU. Other than that I personally don't see someone committing to a team without visiting the campus first.

The more I think about it I think Vawter is between UF, UCLA and possibly Duke with the part of academics being important to her. Sounds like Keeney is going to OU so that tells me they're not getting the big 2.

Something is going on in Norman... Patty Gasso just tweeted "GO BOOMER!!" and that is it. People are assuming it's Keeny.. but it's definitely one of the final big 4 out there.

 

Now the word is Kern.. as long as it's not Maxwell or Vawter.. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

I've been hearing Keeney the whole time for OU. But either way it doesn't sound like OU is getting the ones we want.

 

Kern is Taryn Kern Indiana second baseman who is highly rated and in the transfer portal. All this is very konfusing.

 

Has anyone seen new pitching coach Chelsey Dobbins on campus or heard if she’s on the recruiting road? Didn’t she play at OSU?

 

I know who kern is and don't get me wrong it'd be great to have her. But we want and need maxwell/vawter. It's seems fairly likely that kern is going back west. Likely ucla uw or Stanford. If she was going to OU it would've already happened probably. Keeney seemed to be going to TN but then OU started pushing from what I've heard.... guessing they figured they weren't landing vawter.
