I thought about that before I wrote it, but I found it was deserved also.

I don’t have time or the interest to go through all of the services, so I just use Rivals.

Thanks for correcting my error that is so obvious to everyone who follows recruiting.

Somehow you found the time and interest to complain though. Yay.

I asked Coach Napier about the elevation for the first game and his reply is that they won’t do much out of the ordinary for an away game. Won’t get there any sooner or worry about acclimation. He has talked to NFL coaches about what they do to play in Denver and they just go there, play the game, and leave on a normal schedule. I was surprised but will take his word for it. Hell, it’s not even a mile higher than Hogtown.

Did you talk to Napier in person or on some electronic means?

I tried to edit to clarify but it didn’t take. Asked the question at our Gator Gathering. I have visited my daughter in Provo several times the past several years for a week and I get winded over there, but I’m old and too fat. Worse for me is the nosebleeds from the dry air after about three days. Our young guys should be good. The Utes didn’t seem to lose much in our heat and humidity. They were driving on us at will right down to the end of the game. Hopefully Coach’s researched plan is a good one.

Sorry to hear how that altitude affects you. Thank you for your answer...

Damn, I guess I’m t’s only one game but a boxer would never utter such nonsense. It makes a big difference.

Their defense had problems with AR running at them in the fourth. We steamrolled them.

But we only stopped them when they decided to throw the ball into the EZ when they probably could have waltzed in. Our D wasn’t putting up much of a fight at the end either until a fortuitous int.

Maybe how I worded it was poor. Coach wasn’t being flippant about the game, he just said they won’t treat this one much different than any other away game. I was surprised because I thought they might need to acclimate several days. I better stop with my hijack before I get stopped.

Our d was something else. They couldn’t stop anyone fresh or tired. I hope they turn is around this year.

I thought we might go early too.

My guess is it takes longer for bodies to adjust than the time they’re willing to spend out there. 2 or 3 days probably doesn’t do anything significant

It takes awhile. I moved from Newport News VA (Langley AFB) area to Ogden Utah (Hill AFB). A little less than a month after getting there I had to take my military fitness test. It was a little rough, but I managed to pass. It does take awhile to acclimate so getting there a few days early would not help.

I loved that area. It is still my favorite place that I have lived.

Physically it won't help but they could use an adjustment period mentally when they feel it. I know it got in my head when I was out there but then again, they have world class training and instruction so they will be "ok."

Since we are so far OT I'll throw this in re the Utah game.
Per google its in Salt Lake- and the elevation is 4265.
So 1000 feet less than Denver.
IMO it will be an adjustment for the team but the dry air may feel good. I think it probably will.
Overall IMO it will be a minor negative, but there's nothing we can do about it.
We can't get there 1 month early and acclimate.
