I’m wondering if he has the green light or are we waiting on some others?

 

That would be terrific. Maybe we do have a game changer or 2 already. The guy who puts fear in defenses every play.

But for now, with the running backs we have, we should have killer play action and change of pace players. The potential of our duo in the backfield is exciting. Pearsall alone should keep defenses off balance. And we should have more than him producing. Have a tight end and punt returner emerge and we'll be cooking. Mertz as competent is adequate.

My problem is when people try to make it sound like it’s a big deal when we get a 3 star player when there are better players out there and other teams are getting them.

 

But he’s not a 3 star

 

This was a big get. If you can’t see that, you’re not paying attention. He’s also a composite 4 star, which means his average rating from all the services is 4 star. Rivals is not the end all, be all.

 

with that thinking the big boys UGA, Osu and Bama take a three star that thier staff evaluated and have no problem taking it’s an underrated player and he should be higher when UF takes a three star it’s because they whiffed on a higher rated player ? My first question would be who the hell are the guys ranking these recruits coaches, players some guy that just looks at film? These rating services get it wrong more often then not. I prefer to trust our staff background knowledge and evaluation skills and if they say he’s a take i’m good
