I remember it differently. I played in a basketball tournament out there, in ‘89, outside of Denver… and it was the first time my gym clothes weren’t soaked with sweat or feeling like I needed a rest after playing for hours.

I remember watching the Dolphins play Denver at Mile High — Marino hit Mark Duper on a sideline route and 60 yards later a ~240 pound Bronco ran down Duper from behind and kept him from scoring. Duper just ran out of gas in that thin air

 

I guess I don’t understand it. I always felt it was harder on them to play here …than the other way around

 

Yeah you don't feel sweaty but you're still sweating. Just have to keep drinking even if you're not feeling the need to. Headaches and cracked lips and sinuses mean you're behind the game. I did do some light hiking and that couldn't have helped but the altitude kicked my ass every time I played basketball. Just my own experience

 

Yeah we have the heat and humidity advantage but they train in that thin air and their bodies adjust big time

 

Dude is huge…

 

Love what I’m reading. This is a program-changing get IMHO.

Now it's time to go out and get that "take your breath away" offensive talent that will take the pressure off of our QBs. I'm not sure if we have that already but it would be nice to have more than one if so.
