Napier beat Freeze head to head twice while he was at UL. And the games were not close. It was a blowout both times.

Napier would be higher if we hadn't face-planted at the end of the season.

 

I find it interesting that auburn has hired 2 coaches (Pearl and Freeze) that got their respective SEC schools in trouble with NCAA violations...both had show causes, correct?

 

Well they claim an NC from the early 60s. Never been to Atlanta for the sec title tho.

 

My point exactly...Kiff ranked WAY too high on that list.

 

I don’t find it surprising. Freeze beat Bama twice and then got in trouble. To me, it’s just like we feel that UF has to walk a finer line than Bama does or we will get in trouble. Every decent team in the country is paying for play which is supposed to be illegal.

 

Funny, but many on here wanted both of these guys when we hired Napier.

 

And some her wanted freeze when he was at ole miss. Glad Foley didn't go that route.

 

They will stop at nothing to beat Bama...including selling their soul to the devil(s).

 

Brian Kelly is likely to have a well coached team every year, but the downturn in recruiting from Ogerin is noticeable. Going from a regular top 3 to top 10 is the direction it is heading. That will show in results in the next few years.
