The problem I have is most of the folks on this board claim over and over again that Trump was a draft dodger but the same people are willing to ignore Biden actually had more student deferments than Trump and as soon as his student deferments ran out his father had the same doctor who signed his release to play football to give him a medical deferment. I'm not complaining about either one, my own brother was in the same boat. The pediatrician that treated us growing up actually told my father that he could get my brother a deferment for a heart murmur he had as a child. The Doc had actually given him a clean bill of health for insurance purposes but offered to change that if Dad wanted him to. PS: I didn't have to worry about the draft. I came of age the first year of the draft lottery and my lottery # was 305 out of 365.

Please quit telling tales... Obama's shovel ready jobs was nothing more than a theft in the hundreds of millions of dollars much which ended up in union pension plans in big cities. And Biden's "infrastructure" hasn't been spent as of yet... Trump was busy trying to get the red tape down to 1 year or less on the infrastructure, because he in the only one of the 3 that knew anything about conduction... and he didn't want to waste the American tax payer's dollars in years of delays, and on lawyers. He knew the red tape would eat that money up on courtrooms and environmental delays. He didn't want infrastructure taking 20 years like Bostons "big dig"... which was more like Boston's big tunnel embezzlement project. So the theft on money might be considered an "accomplishment" if you can call stealing much of the $850 million from the taxpayers and accomplishment.
Oh the tales one tells. Obamacare is providing health insurance to millions of people, many who went without until now. Trump had a plan? He said he did, just never showed anyone and then complained it was complicated. Brilliant. The Infrastructure bill will take time to understand the impact. With Trump we knew the impact - nada. Trump did increase the deficit by trillions for nothing in return. How did his signature legislational improve the country?

You don't happen to remember how much your insurance premium increased the year Obamacare went into effect do you? To be honest I don't remember either but what I do remember was the holy shit discussion in the parking lot at work when everybody got their first paycheck once the increase took place.
And today Obamacare is very popular because it has helped millions of people. A healthier population is more productive. And what was Trump's solution? He talked a lot but had nothing.

Here's a start. The monies helped repair 42,000 of roads, about 2,700 bridges, 850 new transit facilities, 12,000 new busses, 700 new rail cars, and helped repair about 800 airports. Now, where's Trump's healthcare plan? Of course, this is irrelevant to the thread. Had Obama taken classified intel to his home after his term, and then refused to return it when subpoenaed to do so, I'd want him charged just like Trump was. But by all accounts, Obama obeyed the Presidential Records Act to the letter. Trump? Not even close.
Not unlike they are doing with projects funded under Biden's infrastructure act Republicans who voted against Obama's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act took credit for projects funded under that legislation.

I recall quite well that our Company premiums went DOWN. I recall because the owner who was a Rush listener predicted a massive increase, threatened the end of the Company's health care plan if it happened and told all employees to vote R if they wanted health insurance. Of course he never acknowledged his BS after premiums went down.
