DC Bar panel recommends Rudy Giuliani be disbarred over 2020 election efforts In a report issued Friday, the D.C. Bar committee said that Giuliani, in his capacity as personal attorney to then-President Donald Trump, committed misconduct by his "frivolous and destructive" efforts to overturn President Joe Biden's win through his failed legal challenges to the election results in Pennsylvania. The committee said that one of the rules was violated when he filed the lawsuit in Pennsylvania "when he had no factual basis and no legitimate legal grounds to do so." "He claimed massive election fraud but had no evidence of it," the committee wrote. Giuliani is already prohibited from practicing law in New York, after a New York court last year suspended his law license in the state, for making false statements about the 2020 election.
Lol... misconduct? Frivolous and destructive? Destructive to whom? The Liberals and Dems that stole the election? leave it to the Dems to consistently try and take free speech away from people who's speech the don't like. I like the way the Liberal states take one's right away from them, just because he's a lawyer... he has no first Amendment Right? The courts never even disproved election fraud because they, they shut down lawsuits completely. It was never disproved in federal court.
"DC Bar" are the critical two words here. The most corrupt bar in the country. The frivolous and destructive efforts were made by the Dems stopping the election in 7 swing states to cheat the night of the election.
Ah... a series of statements without any evidence to support them. Empty. a. Compare and contrast the DC bar against other large metropolitan bar associations. b. Provide any evidence that Dems tried to stop the elections in 7 swing states. Whatever that means. Day drinking is a dangerous habit.
Yeah, you don't have free speech rights to file ridiculous claims in the court system. That is why court systems can sometimes actually charge people the cost of wasting the court's time and money or the other party's time and money. BTW, this suit was dismissed on its merits for lacking a basic understanding of Pennsylvania law and providing no evidence of fraud. When you file a suit, it requires actual evidence of being correct.
Were these words supposed to be a logical argument based on evidence or were they simply an overactive id throwing out words because of feelings?

It is remarkable how many people believe this drivel. There is no reasoning with them because they live in a reality where facts don't exist. Where GOP public officials in states like Arizona and Georgia corruptly stole an election for Dems.
Guilani's free speech isn't being abridged. The government isn't bringing any charges against him. Bar Associations are not government groups, but rather a professional association of lawyers who choose to be a member so they can practice law in respective states. One of the purposes of a Bar Association is to punish members when they act inappropriately, like filling multiple, frivolous lawsuits that have zero evidence backing them up. It's deceitful, and a waste of court resources. Giuliani's multiple election fraud lawsuits fit the description of frivolous. They were all tossed for complete lack of evidence. It shouldn't surprise anyone Guilani will lose his law license over it.
from the article: According to the report, the former New York City mayor violated two legal ethics rules in bringing the lawsuit, which sought to block the certification of votes in the state following Trump's defeat. The committee said that one of the rules was violated when he filed the lawsuit in Pennsylvania "when he had no factual basis and no legitimate legal grounds to do so." The other rule Giuliani violated was Pennsylvania's Rules of Professional Conduct, the report said. "He claimed massive election fraud but had no evidence of it," the committee wrote.
Being disbarred should be the least of his worries. Can't think of many who have had a bigger fall from grace. He has become a total embarrassment.
Rudy can fail (again and again). He knowingly terrorized those women election workers, setting a mob on theme and putting their lives in danger with lies. You can read their spin that they are not admitting he was lying, but the truth is plain In Giuliani’s latest filing, the former New York mayor stipulates that he made statements that “carry meaning that is defamatory per se.” He also stipulates in the two-page statement that some of his statements were “false,” as the election workers alleged. His lawyer, however, stressed that Giuliani was not admitting to the plaintiff’s allegations but instead was seeking to speed up the litigation through a legal maneuver. In the filing, Giuliani says that his stipulations do not affect his arguments that “his statements are constitutionally protected statements or opinions” and that his conduct did not cause “any damages” to the plaintiffs. In a separate filing, Giuliani lawyer Joseph D. Sibley IV says Giuliani “does not admit to Plaintiffs’ allegations” and that his stipulation would short-circuit the need for more discovery in the case.
Not so sure about that Rudy. Didn’t the mom have to either move or stay away from her house for an extended time?
That was my recollection. Assume they are going to argue that was not proximately caused by his defamatory statements
I'm trying to decide if you're tongue in cheek or actually serious. If it's the latter, the absurdity of it almost leaves me speechless.
