I guess when you are a Democrat and you do something wrong you claim the innocent guy on the other side was a gun nut. This is comical coming from an elected official.
I watched the body cams a week or two ago on YouTube. He lied until the cops said they had reviewed the parking lot footage. He should resign in disgrace, and I hope Rhode Island Democrats are not rushing out to defend him.
If the guy was an actual gun nut, he probably would have shot him or at least pulled a weapon, those are the guys that fantasize about putting down looters and vandals committing minor property crimes
