After further review it seems that they exempted Tesla. Go figure

The change confirms newer manufacturers like Tesla, Rivian and Lucid are authorized to hold a franchise dealer license for direct sales of EVs if they are not otherwise prohibited under federal law. That carve-out apparently does not extend to traditional manufacturers such as GM, Ford, Honda and Toyota, all of which now make battery-powered cars

Tesla is going to do fine. I am not sure if their bigger eventual market is cars, chargers for cars or massive power packs but they are dominating all three.

It seems that this bill was designed to protect established dealers and not create new ones. I have always wondered why buying a car is such a horrible experience. If most of the dealerships profits come from parts and service you would think some dealers wouldn’t just try to screw you so hard in the initial sale.

If you have publicly held company executives admitting to using drugs illegally that could cause legal or regulatory problems, I would think.

Opens Tesla up to shareholder lawsuits. Maybe his declaration that he was taking the company private at $420/share was because his was stoned out of the mind on Ketamine. Maybe he bought Twitter for the same reason. Interesting questions.

Funny they just beat on deliveries, again.

Seems the end of Tesla has been over stated, again.

Getting Ford and GM to swap to the Tesla charging stations will be a new money stream in the future.

I’m not buying it here but similar to Apple then more the experts say they are done the more they are wrong.

It’s one of the few stocks that will keep staying power through the upcoming recession. Much like Apple was able to. The forced markdowns to get tax credit is a boon to Tesla and Musk.

30M downloads of threads. In short order anyone with an Instagram account (not me!) will have it. Should add billions in ad revenue to Meta’s bottom line. Time to add to my position.

Funny how Elon musk was a hero to the Left for his planet saving pioneering entrepreneurial enterprise, leading the charge to slay the global carbon belching fossil fuel addiction, with long elusive electric technology....

    ...and then bam....just like that...

    Persona non grata.

    What happened?

    Planet not warming anymore?

    Climate magically stabilized?

All that greeny-weenie bullshit the Left been pimping all these years...all for naught???

Alas, but we DOOOOOOOO know, don't we?

Elon had the audacity to not only neglect to pile on, and echo the party line, but to spend 40 Billion dollars of his own money to take up for free speech, which might have inured, ever so indirectly, to the benefit of public enemy numero uno, one Donaldus Maxumus Trumpus...

And just like that....yesterday's hero, became today's villain.

What will y'all do, when Trump is no longer around to serve as your True Sorth on your @#$@#d up compasses????

(...well, I suppose Bejing will let y'all know, in their own special chicom way....).
