You have to love the little side bar at the end of the article in which it says that police are also investigating a shooting in Philadelphia that left five people dead and two children injured. I am all for moving into a subdivision in which the homeowners association does not allow people to shoot other people in the subdivision.

Just a few days ago, I was thinking how it had been a while since the last major shooting event (Allen, TX was on May 6). Now it's getting hard to keep up with all of them. What? B'more, Philly, now Ft Worth. Bet I'm missing some just from the last week or so.

Edit: According to the article in the OP, there have been six mass shootings in the first three days of July.

Someone was shot in the head in deland yesterday near the area where they had the fireworks. That doesn’t even make the news nowadays.

 

Wait another hour or two for the bigger shooting event. You can set your watch by it.

 

You are probably right referring to the Como Neighborhood of Fort Worth Tx as "shithole country". No offense to the people who live there but it does look to be a bit of a shithole to me.

 

Looks something we’re going to have to live with. Even if Congress could outlaw all gun sales, there are enough in circulation to last a century. Now, if it could outlaw sale of ammunition, we might get somewhere, but that’s never going to happen, nor should it really. Most owners, including myself, are responsible.

 

The Israeli model seems fair for the most terrified gun owners. 25 rounds a year. More than enough to defend yourself. Hunters can use knifes, spears and if they must bow and arrows.

 

Mexico will let you come in, I’ll bet you’ll feel safer there.

A mother protecting her children in Louisiana is a recent example of the type of “good guy with a gun” story that liberals truly hate because it proves that guns save lives.

A convicted felon who had just perpetrated another string of violent crimes chose the wrong house to invade and the wrong woman to attack in Hammond, Louisiana, earlier this year when he met a mother who was determined to protect her children, WVUE-TV reported.

The officers discovered the body of Robert Rheams, 51, just after 5 a.m. on a Sunday morning in January, after he tried to break into the home where a woman resided with her two young children.

The brave mother told the officers that Rheams broke in while the family was sleeping. According to WVUE, the convict was wearing a ski mask and was armed with a shovel and a lug wrench.
The criminal was pronounced dead at the scene by the parish coroner.

Kimbrady Carriker, 40, was arrested late Monday evening for fatally shooting 5 people and injuring two children in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Carriker, described as a 40-year-old male, was wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying an AR-style rifle, a handgun, and a police scanner.


It appears Kimbrady Carriker is a transgender or a crossdresser based on photos posted to his Facebook page.
