My favorite was "The Wrestling Pro" traditionally a "bad guy" who wore a mask, he went "good" for awhile and won a championship belt as I recall.

The pro used to reach into that waist band and pull out "The Can Opener" - He would cause havoc when he pulled it out! Blood would fly!

More than once I was pulling on my dads shirt tails as he attacked the ring trying to point out to the ref the Pro had a "can opener" in his possession.

Fortunatley the pro did not "body slam" my old man...............LMAO!

    Good times!

Best story for those guys -

So after a match in Florala at the NGA, we hit the "State Line" Package Store one time.

Guess who was there - Just about everybody on my list.

We sat around shooting he bull with those guys getting hammered in the parking lot.

They were really fun to talk to and guess what, those guys were all kinda "working buds".

I remember going to WEAR Channel 3 studios ( early 70s) early Saturday morning and watching it on tape later that night.

Hayes little brother was on my baseball team. He used to throw batting practice when he was in town.

First concert: Skynard. 1975 in P-Cola! Wow
Of course we hit the "wrastlin" on the weekends so I knew the venue well.

Remember "Shakeys" pizza? I loved that joint.
