    OHGO (Our Hearts Go Out) should be used as the official shorthand response to America's mass shootings. Saves a lot of time and repetitive verbiage. Police spokespersons and other officials at press conferences can just say "Ohgo" and get on with the usual details.

    What greater expression of pure Americana is there than putting on your bullet proof vest and grab your AR, a pistol and extra magazines and going out for a stroll?

    It does look like that on one hand. OTOH, the tactical gear and the targeting of kids didn’t fit that profile. Not sure.

    Either way, no matter who does it, it’s quintessential Americana. One thing shared by many seemingly disconnected American subcultures is the love of gun gear and shooting. Brings together gangbangers and MAGA militias.

    They good thing is, no matter what identity or motivations of the shooter, at least someone with a grievance has easy access to the tools to express that grievance in a truly American way - dress up random killing with firearms.
